    Cashier

    Job Description

    We are currently looking for versatile, intelligent and energetic restaurant cashiers with passion for delivering outstanding service to join our professional and friendly team. This person will be responsible for providing passionate, charming and attentive service delivery to all customers according to our service standards in order to ensure guest satisfaction.

    Job Summary:

    As the Restaurant Cashier, you will work alongside team members in ensuring customers have a wonderful experience, deliver quality service and maintaining relationships with customers.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Ensures customers are attended to in a courteous and friendly manner and swift resolution is given to their issues/complaints
    • Ensures sales entries are correctly entered and receipts are issued to customer
    • Maintain excellent level of hygiene at all the time
    • Must be knowledgeable about the company products
    • Must possess suggestive selling skills

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of SSCE
    • Maximum of OND
    • Experience in the hospitality industry could be an added advantage but not compulsory
    • Must be between 18-25 years old
    • Must be able to work in a team enviroment

    Kitchen/ Production Supervisor

    Job Description
    Job Summary 

    The kitchen/ production supervisor will be responsible for overseeing a small army of kitchen staff and overseeing the day to day running of the kitchen, including cleaning the equipment, checking supplies and rotating food stock. Supervises and coordinates activities of food preparation, kitchen, pantry, and storeroom personnel and utilizing food surpluses and leftovers.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Managing and co-ordination of kitchen staff and activities
    • Making sure the kitchen is safe and in hygienic conditions at all times
    • Organizing the inventory, storage, and distribution of foodstuffs and supplies
    • Helping to plan menus, apportion ingredients and use food surpluses
    • Control portion costs by working out the number of portions per food batch
    • Supervises cooks, tastes, smells, and observes food to ensure conformance with recipes and appearance standards.

    Qualifications

    • HND or its equivelent
    • Must have a commercial cooking experience preferably for a restaurant or hotel, a vocational training in catering will be an added advantage although not compulsory.
    • Management or supervisory experience will be an added advantage
    • Ability to multitask
    • Basic literacy skills
    • Creative and customer oriented

    Cooks

    Job Description
    A Cook is responsible for preparing ingredients at an establishment that serves food, processing customer orders, producing meals and cleaning their workspace throughout the day to follow health and safety guidelines. Cooks follow recipes consistently, make adjustments based on customer requests, communicate with wait staff and prepare garnishes to make an attractive presentation for each meal.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Ensure ingredients and final products are fresh
    • Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients
    • Bake, grill, steam and boil meats, vegetables, fish, poultry and other foods
    • Present, garnish and arrange final dishes
    • Occasionally serve food
    • Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment and dishes
    • Handle and store ingredients and food
    • Maintain food safety and sanitation standards

    Qualifications
     Requirements:

    • SSCE/OND.
    • 1 or more years’ experience working within the food industry as a Cook, Chef or related role.
    • Working knowledge of local dishes techniques and the Intercontinental dish making process.
    • Keen attention to detail.
    • In-depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation, and nutrition.
    • Flexible working hours, including weekends and evenings, when necessary.
    • Capable of working in a fast-paced, production environment
    • Must reside or be willing to work in Ikota, Lagos
    • Salary is very attractive + HMO + Free lunch + 13th month salary
