    Programs Officer

    Location: Ikeja, Lagos

    Job Description

    • We are looking for a creative Programs Officer to join our versatile team and help achieve our program and event objectives.
    • As a Programs Officer you will be tasked with creating, implementing, organizing and managing all program, event and project activities from conception, planning and execution throughout the program life cycle.
    • You will also collaborate with both internal team members and departments, and external parties (organizations, volunteers and the like) in order to ensure the overall success of all Vasiti Events.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement all relevant activities regarding program initiatives and project outlines.
    • Create and oversee all project funds and budgets ensuring expenses are properly managed.
    • Form strategic partnerships and manage relationships with other organizations for business expansion.
    • Generate detailed reports on all programs and projects for management.
    • Represent Vasiti’sbrand in industry conferences, meetings and workshops.
    • Develop best practices to improve overall program performance.
    • Plan and execute program activities in timely and accurate manner ensuring all project deliverables are achieved.
    • Manage and monitor grants and prepare funding reports.
    • Prepare project contract documents (subcontracts, sub-agreements, purchase orders and Memorandum of Understanding) as requested.
    • Develop management tools that can be adapted for other programs as needed.
    • Collaborate with other departments as needed to successfully achieve Vasiti’s objectives.

    Requirements

    • At least 1 year of experience as a Programs Officer or similar role.
    • Experience in planning/organizing events/ programs.
    • Must posses project management skills.
    • Experience in working with students.
    • Ability to communicate in public environments effectively.
    • Ability to work well either alone or as part of a team.
    • Bachelor's Degree qualification.

    • Manage teams of campus representatives across Nigeria.
    • Maintain data relative to partners, accounts and activities and document customer interactions.
    • Ensure targets are delivered through people management, performance review, reward and individual recognition.
    • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee management of all Studysey social media accounts.
    • Develop engaging, creative and innovative content for regularly scheduled posts, which enlighten and engage audiences, and promote brand-focused messages.
    • Develop and implement social media strategy for Studysey in line with organization goals.
    • Audit and analyze Studysey’s social media presence, and outline budget for campaigns.
    • Analyze social media campaigns with tracking systems to gather visitor data, determine social media campaign effectiveness and areas for improvement.
    • Work with other departments to develop social media time-lines corresponding with new product releases, ad campaigns or other brand messagesto promote the overall brand through social media channels.
    • Monitor and develop reports on Studysey social media activities and competitor activities within social media spaces and stay up to date with relevant social media trends.
    • Track social media influencers for Studysey and utilize influencer channels to enhance overall brand reputation and extend brand reach.
    • Perform regular research to understand audience interestsand develop effective strategies to meet them.

    Requirements

    • Candidate should possess Bachelor's degree
    • Prior experience in a similar role. Exabperience in Advertising and / or Brand Marketing is an added advantage.
    • Extensive knowledge of social media platforms.
    • Experience in copywriting and content creation.
    • Proofreading and editing skills.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Customer Service Skills.
    • Ability to work well either alone or as part of a team.
