    Privacy Analyst

    Our client is looking for a privacy analyst to join their privacy and audit team. The ideal candidate will have practical experience in data privacy audits, Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), drafting policy documents, and supporting training or awareness initiatives. 

    Key Responsibilities

    Privacy Audits & Assessments

    • Assist in conducting data protection audits and compliance gap analyses for clients across sectors.
    • Support the completion of Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) for new or high-risk data processing activities.
    • Help maintain audit documentation and risk registers and follow up on tracking for remediation actions.

    Policy & Documentation

    • Draft and update data protection policies and procedures such as:
    • Data Protection Policy
    • Data Retention Policy
    • Data Breach Response Plan
    • Third-Party Data Processing Agreement
    • Review client documents to ensure alignment with NDPA and GAID requirements.
    • Maintain an internal library of privacy templates and frameworks. 

    Training & Awareness

    • Assist in preparing training materials and presentation decks for client privacy awareness sessions.
    • Coordinate training logistics and follow-ups for completion tracking and feedback.

    Regulatory & Legal Support

    • Monitor updates to NDPA, GAID, and global privacy frameworks, summarizing changes for internal and client briefings.
    • Support clients with data protection registration and documentation for NDPC audits or certification readiness. 

    Qualifications

    Degree in law, information security, computer science, or a related field.

    • Experience in data privacy and compliance.
    • Understanding of NDPA 2023, GAID, and basic familiarity with GDPR principles.
    • Experience with policy creation, audit documentation, and/or DPIAs.
    • Exposure to privacy training or awareness campaigns is required.
    • Privacy certifications (e.g., CDPO, CIPP/E, CIPM, or ISO 27701) are a plus but not mandatory.
