    Commissioning Engineer - Telecom / PACO

    Purpose

    • The ideal candidate would support the safe and efficient commissioning of telecom and PACO systems in a major Oil & Gas project, ensuring everything is ready for start-up.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Promote and ensure a strong safety culture (HSSE) across all teams.
    • Make sure all safety rules and standards are followed.
    • Oversee commissioning systems under your scope—this includes planning, documentation, and execution.
    • Support emergency preparedness during commissioning.
    • Track and report commissioning progress and performance.
    • Ensure critical safety systems are checked and documented.
    • Help manage alarm systems to prevent overloads during start-up.
    • Assist contractors in planning commissioning tasks and schedules.
    • Review and guide on cleanliness and preservation standards.
    • Contribute to test procedure development and reviews.
    • Participate in field commissioning activities and testing.
    • Coordinate with Shell technicians for inspection and verification.
    • Join system walkdowns and help identify punch list items.
    • Support Start-Up and Ramp-Up (SURU) planning and execution.
    • Help with handing over the project to operations.
    • Capture lessons learned for future projects.

    Qualifications

    • Education: Degree or Diploma in Engineering or related field
    • Experience: 10+ years in commissioning/start-up roles in Oil & Gas, especially in telecom or PACO systems.

    Skills & Competencies:

    • Strong planning and execution skills in commissioning/start-up
    • Experience in large Oil & Gas projects
    • Knowledge of technical integrity and engineering processes
    • Able to manage and support contractor teams
    • Familiar with Flawless Start-Up/Delivery processes
    • Mix of hands-on and theoretical knowledge
    • Familiar with international standards and company procedures
    • Understanding of Quality Assurance/Control
    • Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.

    Events Management Executive

    Role Summary

    • The Events Management Executive will help the Head of Corporate Affairs plan and run events that reflect the company's mission. 
    • This includes organizing event logistics, managing volunteers, coordinating vendors, managing concerts, conferences, large-scale events, similar high-capacity functions and ensuring a smooth experience for attendees. 
    • The ideal profile should demonstrate a strong background in strategic and Operational event, vendor and stakeholder management, logistics planning, and real-time problem-solving, especially within fast-paced and high-pressure event environments.

    Key Responsibilities
    Event Planning & Execution:

    • Support in planning events like worship services, conferences, and outreach programs.
    • Ensure events align with the company's mission and values.
    • Create event timelines and handle logistics and on-site operations.

    Logistics & Coordination:

    • Manage venue selection, scheduling, guest accommodations, and registration.
    • Work with other departments to align event goals with the organization's objectives.
    • Oversee vendor contracts and ensure timely service delivery.
    • Track event budgets and minimize costs.

    Stakeholder & Volunteer Management:

    • Recruit and train volunteers.
    • Build relationships with stakeholders, sponsors, and partners.
    • Serve as the point of contact for event-related inquiries.

    Post-Event Evaluation & Improvement:

    • Collect attendee feedback.
    • Identify improvements for future events.
    • Resolve issues to ensure high-quality experiences for attendees.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Event Management, Marketing, Public Relations, or similar.
    • 3 - 5 years of experience in event planning, ideally in corporate, nonprofit, or faith-based sectors.
    • Certifications in Event Planning or Project Management (optional).
    • Proficiency in event management software (e.g., Eventbrite, Cvent).
    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

    Person Specification:

    • The ideal candidate is a proactive team player with strong organizational skills and a passion for the company's mission. 
    • This role needs someone who is detail-oriented and committed to creating impactful events. A Spirit-filled Christian is preferred.

    Ideal Technical Competencies:

    • Skilled in event planning, budgeting, and vendor management.
    • Ability to manage multiple events at once.
    • Knowledge of event risk assessments, venue selection, and setup.
    • Experience with volunteer management and partnerships.
    • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
