    Supv,Facilities,Assistant

    Job Description

    • The candidate shall be required to help provide and maintain facilities that give Church missionaries where they work, worship, teach, learn pray together, make, and renew covenants, and receive sacred ordinances. Will be a primary customer contact person for all physical facilities matters relating to existing facilities and properties. This position will also assist in the prevention of building deterioration and maximize building life through judicious application of operations and maintenance processes and standards.

    Responsibilities

    • Prepare and implement operations and maintenance annual plan.
    • Scope building renovation projects with the assistance of project Manager.
    • Regularly inspect facilities to ensure compliance to approved standards.
    • Manages resources including staff, contractors, and vendors to execute the annual plan.
    • Secures Contractors and vendors and ensures that work and services meet established specifications.
    • Communicate frequently with customers, employees, vendors, and contractors to develop and maintain effective relationships.

    Qualifications

    • Must be a member of the Church and worthy of a temple recommend.
    • Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, Construction management, business, or a related field.
    • 3-5 years’ experience in facilities management, and property management or related industry.
    • 3 or more years in a leadership role leading others.
    • Must be proficient in the use of MS Office Applications and be able to use other computer-specific software, web-based programs, internet services, and wireless communications.
    • Knowledge of facility and property management, construction procedures, business practices, safety, and fire codes.
    • Exposure to front-line management skills in a multi-discipline work environment.
    • Ability to communicate professionally with employees, priesthood leaders, contractors, and vendors.
    • Two to five years of driving experience with a good driving record and safety-minded.
    • Possess a valid Driver's license with Basic knowledge of auto mechanics.

    Driver 1

    Job Description

    • The position exists to transport missionaries, guests, packages, materials, merchandise, and other duties as assigned to destinations, by safely applying knowledge of driving regulations following instructions given. The candidate shall also maintain vehicle logs, perform basic maintenance, and inspect the vehicle regularly to ensure optimal performance and operation. May be required occasionally to work weekends.

    Responsibilities

    • Transports missionaries or delivers goods to destinations safely and using knowledge of driving regulations.
    • Verifies goods against shipping documents.
    • Maintains vehicle logs and performs basic maintenance. 
    • Inspects vehicles regularly to ensure optimal performance and operation.
    • May load and unload vehicle.
    • May provide emergency roadside repairs.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Must be a member of the Church and worthy of a temple recommend.
    • Minimum of Senior Secondary School/Diploma Certificate or equivalent
    • Two to five years of driving experience with a good driving record and safety minded.
    • Possess a valid Driver's license with Basic knowledge of auto mechanics.
    • A polite and professional disposition with good interpersonal skills, including the ability to maintain confidentiality.
    • Ability to follow directions and familiarity with GPS devices.
    • Demonstrated ability to care for and highly regard church vehicles and equipment.
    • Must understand and be able to use Microsoft Office Applications, internet services, and wireless communications.
    • Availability to occasionally work weekends and night shifts.
