    Trainee Production Supervisor

    Job Description

    • We are seeking highly motivated Trainee Production Engineering Supervisors to join our dynamic manufacturing team.
    • These critical roles will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing production processes, ensuring the efficient and safe manufacture of our agrochemical products, and leading a team of dedicated production personnel.

    Responsibilities

    • Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet output, quality, and delivery targets.
    • Monitor staff performance, provide direction, and ensure team adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
    • Ensure that machines, tools, and equipment are functioning properly and request maintenance when needed.
    • Collaborate with planning, quality control, maintenance, and logistics departments to optimize workflow and resolve production issues.
    • Enforce safety and hygiene regulations on the shop floor; promote a safe working environment.
    • Train new employees and upskill existing team members on production procedures and company standards.
    • Track production metrics such as output, downtime, and wastage; prepare reports for management.
    • Monitor inventory of raw materials and supplies required for production and liaise with the store or procurement team.
    • Handle discipline, timekeeping, and attendance matters in accordance with company policy.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Production/Industrial Engineering, Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field with a minimum passing grade of Second Class honours, Upper Division from a Nigerian university.
    • Our Ideal candidate should not be morethan 27years old.should be a highly creative individual with the ability to develop innovative solutions to our problems.
    • Should also have the ability to communicate technical ideas in a clear manner, both visually and verbally.
    • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), ISO standards, and relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
    • May be required to work shifts, weekends, or public holidays, depending on production schedules.

    Administrative Assistant

    Key Responsibilities

    • We are seeking a reliable and highly organized Administrative Assistant to handle a range of administrative and clerical duties in support of our daily operations.
    • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Executive Directors, including handling confidential information, scheduling, and task coordination.
    • Schedule and organize staff meetings, trainings, and other internal events; prepare necessary logistics and documentation.
    • Assist with staff recruitment processes, onboarding, documentation, and general HR administrative tasks.
    • Support procurement processes, maintain records of purchases, and assist in the coordination and evaluation of suppliers and service providers.
    • Draft and edit various forms of correspondence including memos, emails, letters, reports, and internal documents.
    • Establish and maintain organized filing systems (both electronic and physical) to ensure easy retrieval and secure storage of company records.
    • Assist in the management of staff and asset insurance (including HMO), and maintain regular communication with service providers to resolve any issues.
    • Create and manage a database of the company’s assets (both movable and immovable), ensuring records are up to date and maintenance schedules are followed.
    • Perform any additional tasks or special assignments as may be delegated by Executive Management.

    Requirements

    • Our ideal candidate is not more than 30 years oldand is a graduate from a recognized Nigerian university with a minimum of Second Class Upper Division (2:1) in the Social Sciences, Physical Sciences, or Arts disciplines.
