He/she is responsible for using a Vehicle to ensure retail customers are served; and Saro Agrosciences products are available & visible across in assigned routes at all times.
Responsibilities
Prepares route plan & adhere to it strictly.
Develop & maintain a customer list that capture Name, Contact Person, Address, and Phone Numbers of customers in assigned routes.
Sell company products to current & potential retail outlets / customers.
Deliver set targets on all sales KPIs- Call, IMS, Collection, Strike Rate, Average Order Size/Call etc.
Ensure products are sold as communicated in official company price list in all sales outlets
Ensure proper maintenance of the van is carried out in accordance with guidelines.
Maintain a driver's logbook showing details of itineraries, fuel consumption, maintenance records, etc.
Assist in the development (information generation) and implementation of marketing plans regarding his / her assigned territory.
Report issues relating to satisfaction of customers, & consumers in assigned routes.
Develop existing & new retail customers to achieve daily, weekly, monthly, & annual volume / revenue targets.

Market Sales Representative for Makurdi will be in charge of developing Mkd Customer base and translating potentials into Sales revenue in the market.
He will cover all open market within Benue State and neighbouring States to create demand for Saro Agro-Allied brands.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for identifying key open markets to target
Ensure understanding of their local needs, behaviours & buying patterns
Enumerate all open market within territory, and develop a customer database
Develop a journey plan with the database to ensure daily customer visits
Apply sales and marketing skills in converting potential customers/sales lead to paying customers/demand
Responsible for depletion of all inventory of SBM, Oil & Other products in Mkd factory/warehouse to drive territory target
Understand how to retain customers through good customer relationship management
Ensure all Sales Payment is made into SAA bank account by customers
Implement all tactical plans geared towards upselling, including promotions and branding activations
Executing appropriate programmes and obtaining consumers' feedback for all new solutions.
Scan the environment weekly to understand the existing and emerging competitors play, dynamics, vulnerabilities and opportunities and report same to line manager
Provides reports of functions on daily and weekly basis to line manager, Mkd factory mgr. & other Interested parties
Any other job that may be assigned by the team lead manager.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in a field such as Sales Management, or a related discipline.
Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Sales management.
The candidate must possess industry experience in relevant commodity,
Possess mid-level managerial fitness for understanding & driving strategic business goals.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Certification in NIMN/CIM will be an added advantage.
