Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for repair and maintenance of dialysis equipment.
• Carry out planned preventive maintenance inspections and tests in accordance withprocedures.
• Prepare spare part requisitions as needed for equipment repairs.
• Ensure that the overall activities of equipment maintenance meet international best practices, patient safety, quality standards; environmental, government regulatory and legal stipulations.
• Coordinate and oversee the dialysis gadgets function towards ensuring the unit maintain and meet up to best practices.
• Coordinate and participate in I.C.U dialysis treatment.

Education, Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelors degree in Medical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics or related courses. Membership of related professional associations is an advantage
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years work experience.
• Previous experience in a similar leadership position is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performing diagnostic imaging to obtain clear, usable images.
• Inserting commands and data into the computer to document and specify the scan sequences, and monitoring the video display to adjust the density or contrast.
• Monitoring patients during examinations, ensuring their safety, and following procedures to prevent unnecessary exposure to radiation.
• Producing diagnostic images, reporting important information to the Physician, and updating patients' records.
• Organizing the daily procedure schedules for emergencies and monitoring radiographic supplies.

Education, Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Radiography or related courses
• Membership of related professional associations is an advantage
• Minimum of 3years hands-on work experience obtained from a reputable hospital of diagnostics centre
