    SharePoint Administrator / Support Analyst

    Role Objectives

    • Manage and Configure SharePoint environment to support users and business requirements
    • Ensure smooth every day running of client applications/products, ensure SLAs are met and that quality targets are reached in accordance with agreed client contract.
    • To develop quality software to stipulated time and date whilst ensuring proper commenting in the source codes to guarantee transferability.
    • To develop software solutions as specified by the analysis team with strict adherence to source code versioning and coding standards/conventions.

    Responsibilities
    Development Responsibilities:

    • Researching, designing and writing new software programs
    • Unit testing new programs and fault finding
    • Developing existing programs by analyzing and identifying areas for modification
    • Bolting together' existing software products and getting incompatible platforms to work together
    • Investigating new technologies
    • Assisting technical authors with writing operational documentation
    • Maintaining systems by monitoring and correcting software defects
    • Working closely with other staff, such as project managers, graphic artists, systems analysts, and sales and marketing
    • Constantly updating technical knowledge and skills by attending in-house and/or external courses, reading manuals and accessing new applications
    • Problem-solving and thinking laterally as part of a team, or individually, to meet the needs of the project.
    • Unit tested and quality software Programs
    • Clearly commented and versioned source codes

    Support Responsibilities:

    • Providing 1st, 2nd & 3rd Line support to computer users' problems, supplying training and feedback to those users to lessen the occurrence of future problems.
    • Create / manage workflows to automate processes in both SharePoint Workflows and Microsoft Flow
    • Troubleshooting difficult or unusual situations, and suggesting workflow improvements to management.
    • Ensure all support calls are logged.
    • A good understanding of PCs, operating systems, networking and applications, whether in-house or shrink-wrapped.
    • Effective listening, empathy, patience, and the ability to carefully walk a user through problem resolution steps either remotely or in person.
    • In terms of remote support, the capacity to visualize what's taking place on the user's desktop.
    • The aptitude to troubleshoot problems under pressure, and the ability to defuse excited and sometimes irate users or customers, are also valuable traits.

    Qualification, Experience & Skill Requirements

    • university Degree in Computer / Information Technology or related field.
    • Must have at least 3 yrs relevant working experience and is able to work without supervision.

    Essential Skills:

    • He/she must have good knowledge of application development.
    • Knowledge of SharePoint support &/or applications development.
    • He/she must have the ability to develop custom SharePoint workflows.
    • He/she must have the ability to build SharePoint solutions using CSOM and/or JSOM.
    • He/she must have the ability to develop SharePoint Add-in Solutions.
    • Intermediate proficiency in SharePoint or SharePoint Online architecture and design.
    • Experience creating and implementing systems needed for the business for collaboration, document management and workflow.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to write clear, concise documentation for a wide audience.
    • Ability to communicate at all levels and be able to convert user and management requirements into actionable plans and solutions.
    • Ability to work well under pressure as an individual and as part of a team.
    • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
    • Good knowledge of Code repository.
    • An ability to rapidly and effectively understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions
    • Proven skill in developing and managing maintainable code-bases
    • Knowledge and experience of cross-browser issues
    • Experience of working in an environment where products have to be delivered to specific time-scales
    • Self-motivated with good organizational skills in order to work to challenging deadlines

    Senior SharePoint Developer

    Position Objective

    • The Snr. SharePoint Developer will enforce and evolve design and development standards; manage the assignment of design and development tasks; oversee all technical aspects of project design and implement the overall systems architecture; and develop key application components.
    • He/She will also advise the development manager on technical issues, and serve as top-tier technical support to the technical team and the users.

    Key Duties/Responsibilities

    • Prioritize, assign and monitor application design and development tasks across multiple concurrent software maintenance and enhancement projects.
    • Promote SDLC conformance, industry design standards and development principles.
    • Facilitate adoption of standards, processes and process improvements across application development activities, including unit testing, version control, and code review.
    • Review internal deliverables and deliverables received from vendor(s) who might be delivering a set of modules/features.
    • Research and evaluate alternative solutions and recommend the most efficient and cost-effective solution considering requirements, available SharePoint technology, governance, and best practice guidelines
    • Participate in hands-on application solutions architecture, design, development, testing and deployment activities.
    • Work with the Operations Team to provide SharePoint End User support, training, guidance and direction.
    • Mentor team members in design and programming methods to improve proficiency within the environment and use of existing tools.
    • Assist with administrative matters including status reporting and performance feedback.
    • Deliver presentations, briefings, and technical documentation.

    Experience and Certification

    • Minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years of experience designing and developing SharePoint solutions.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead a project team in definition and design of systems.
    • Demonstrated ability to understand business drivers, strategies, trends and concerns of the business to design technology solutions that meet the future needs of the organization.
    • Process orientation and demonstrated ability to formalize and implement software methodology and processes.
    • 5+ years of in-depth work experience developing solutions using Microsoft .NET technology and approach (C#, ASP.NET, WCF, Git, NodeJs, MVC, WebAPI, API-First, Microservice).
    • Expert in relational database concepts, structured query language (SQL), and stored procedures (SP).
    • Experience in design and implementation of SharePoint 2013+ full trust code, workflows, custom branding, Web Parts, User Controls, Feature Stapling, and SharePoint App development.
    • Skilled in SharePoint Client Side and Server Side Object Model, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, XML, XSD, AJAX, SharePoint Framework and UML.
    • Ability to work closely with a diverse team including business analysts, developers, database administrators, technical writers, configuration managers, project managers, and business users.
    • Ability to architect complex systems that include sending data across closed networks, creating of APIТs, creation of Web Services
    • Excellent communication and strong team-building skills.
