    MEP Engineer (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing)

    KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Preparation of plans, details, specified & cost estimated of plumbing, heating, ventilating, air conditioning & general pipe system
    • Ensuring effective construction management, documentation, building management & maintenance of all company’s projects
    • Develop project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans for optimization
    • Prepare MEP bills of quantities and drawings to ensure accuracy
    • Providing technical advice and suggestions for improvement on projects.
    • Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to ensure the best value
    • Ensuring the energy efficiency of all Company’s projects
    • Drawing up work schedules and communicating any adjustments to team members and management.
    • Gathering data, compiling reports and delivering presentations to relevant stakeholders.
    • Delegating tasks and scheduling meetings and training sessions where required.
    • Completing quality assurance and providing feedback to the team.
    • Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of all Company’s projects through effective planning and design of project mechanical, electrical and plumbing works
    • Utilize effective HVAC designs and frameworks which embraces dynamic building solutions
    • Improve building performance through system components such as lighting device efficiencies as well as through building system control methodologies
    • Maximize investment through a comprehensive array of services that includes building evaluation, system diagnostics, feasibility studies and lease consultation services
    • Provide measurable value at every stage of construction, from schematic design and administration to post-occupancy survey
    • Cooperate and coordinate with pre-construction and project management team to deploy the most efficient model for execution of all projects
    • Conduct a constructability review to ensure all drawings and specifications are accurate, safe and synced up with the project vision from project inception
    • Draw up the MEP quality plan of all Company’s projects to serve as working framework for the construction process
    • Assist in construction administration, ensuring the project remains on schedule and under budget, as well as providing progress reports
    • Provide MEP expertise and advice that can help to reduce project overhead while also making the most efficient use of resources
    • Prepare and deliver effective oral presentation whenever required
    • Review sub-contractors and other vendors installation method statements, shop drawings, against the design drawings for compliance with the design intent
    • Monitor and promote health and safety on site

    ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • Sc. /B.Eng. in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or other related discipline.
    • Minimum of 4-6 years of project experience working in the construction industry required
    • Proximity to Victoria Island is a key quality

    Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) Manager

    KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Create practical systems that guide staff on safety, quality, and environmental expectations, aligned with relevant standards and project needs.
    • Coordinate the acquisition and renewal of all necessary health, safety, and environmental permits for construction activities; liaise with relevant regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with local laws and alignment with project timelines
    • Conduct site inspections, audits, and checks to ensure operations meet ISO standards, legal requirements, and client specifications.
    • Identify risks, ensure controls are in place, and respond to near misses, injuries, or quality failures by investigating causes and enforcing corrective actions.
    • Organize toolbox talks, safety inductions, and refresher sessions to keep staff informed, alert, and competent on QHSE practices.
    • Track availability, suitability, and proper use of PPE across sites; coordinate with procurement and site supervisors as needed.
    • Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, training, and non-conformances; prepare reports for management and clients.
    • Work with project and site teams to monitor material quality, workmanship, and compliance with project specifications or standards.
    • Submit required documentation, coordinate inspections, and manage relationships related to health, safety, environmental, and quality matters.
    • Oversee ISO audit processes, ensuring full compliance with relevant standards and maintaining complete, organized, and audit-ready documentation always.
    • Foster a culture of ownership and continuous improvement by encouraging staff to report hazards, raise concerns, and contribute to safer, higher-quality project delivery.
    • Perform other duties that may arise in line with the evolving needs of the role and the organization.

    ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a QHSE role within the construction or engineering industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
    • Professional certification in QHSE (e.g., NEBOSH IGC, ISO Lead Auditor, OSHA, or equivalent).
    • Demonstrable hands-on experience in the implementation, auditing, and compliance of ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 standards.
    • Proven track record of successfully managing QHSE systems, site inspections, and audit processes.
    • Working knowledge of relevant local and international regulations governing construction safety, quality, and environmental practices.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with basic reporting or audit tracking tools.
    • Membership in a recognized professional safety or quality body.
    • Proximity to Victoria Island, Lagos is mandatory.

    Senior Civil Engineer

    KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • The Senior Civil Engineer will lead all civil and structural engineering activities across building and infrastructure projects, ensuring structural integrity, quality delivery, cost efficiency, and full compliance with engineering and safety standards.

    Design & Technical Responsibilities

    • Lead the development, review, and approval of civil and structural drawings, design calculations, and construction details.
    • Prepare and validate structural layouts, foundation designs, concrete works, steel structures, drainage systems, roads, retaining walls, and other civil components.
    • Ensure all civil and structural designs comply with relevant building codes, construction regulations, and project specifications.
    • Conduct structural analysis, load calculations, and stability checks to ensure safety and integrity of all project structures.
    • Review and approve contractors’ shop drawings, method statements, material submissions, and fabrication details for compliance with design intent.
    • Perform value engineering to improve performance, reduce cost, and enhance project efficiency.
    • Coordinate civil/structural design integration with architectural, mechanical, electrical, and project management teams.

    Construction Supervision & Project Execution

    • Oversee all civil engineering activities on project sites to ensure construction works align with approved drawings and standards.
    • Conduct site inspections, supervise structural works, monitor concrete quality, reinforcement placement, soil testing, and geotechnical compliance.
    • Prepare work schedules, review progress, forecast project needs, and report key findings directly to the Managing Director.
    • Identify construction risks early and recommend technical solutions to prevent delays, rework, or structural issues.
    • Ensure contractors adhere strictly to quality standards, material specifications, and civil engineering procedures.
    • Evaluate variations, site instructions, and technical clarifications to support timely decision-making.

    Team Leadership & Coordination

    • Lead and mentor civil engineering teams, site engineers, and supervisors, ensuring technical excellence and professional growth.
    • Assign tasks, coordinate workloads, and oversee performance of engineering personnel.
    • Promote effective communication between engineering, construction, procurement, and project management units.

    Vendor, Contractor & Stakeholder Management

    • Evaluate contractor proposals, civil works methodologies, and technical submissions.
    • Liaise with consultants, government agencies, regulatory bodies, and clients on design approvals, inspections, and compliance.
    • Conduct technical meetings and present detailed engineering reports and updates to the Managing Director and project stakeholders.
    • Review and certify civil engineering-related project documentation, measurements, and BOQs.

    Quality Assurance & Safety Compliance

    • Implement strict quality control checks on materials, workmanship, and structural components throughout all civil works.
    • Ensure full compliance with HSE policies, construction safety regulations, and environmental standards.
    • Monitor site activities for hazards, enforce safety procedures, and promote a safe working environment.
    • Recommend process improvements and corrective actions to maintain project integrity and efficiency

    ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

    • BEng /M.Sc. in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
    • Must be COREN certified (fully registered and in good standing)
    • Minimum of 15 years of engineering experience within the construction industry.
    • Excellent technical judgement, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Demonstrated expertise in structural design, building services coordination, and multidisciplinary technical oversight.
    • Proven track record in managing engineering teams and leading medium to large-scale projects.
    • Proximity to Victoria Island, Lagos, is an added advantage.
