    Senior Specialist - ICT Segment Management

    Reports To: Senior Manager - SME Segment Management

    Division: Enterprise Business

    Mission:

    • Drive business growth and revenue within the enterprise segment through the development and implementation of impactful Information and Communication Technology (ICT) solutions. 
    • Develop and execute focused ICT segment strategies by establishing strong strategic partnerships, overseeing lifecycle management, and fostering a culture of solution innovation to consistently deliver on revenue targets and expand our market footprint.

    Description:

    • Participate in planning, definition, and high-level design of a solution; explore architectural alternatives, aid team in identifying technologies and making architectural decisions. 
    • Participate in release preparation and planning to determine the necessary architectural improvements according to the architecture roadmap.
    • Act as the application(s) functional expert by providing expertise in the business process supported by the application(s) 
    • Provide detailed definition on how the applications will support business requirements. 
    • Conduct impact analysis of business requirements on the system. 
    • Work with Application Technical Architects in defining software/hardware requirements and in planning and delivering architecture. 
    • Serve as process expert/coach for the team's owned standard deliverables - optimize for the supported clients.
    • Participate in release preparation and planning to determine the necessary architectural improvements according to the architecture roadmap.
    • Designing and enforcing architectural standards
    • Synchronize architectural solution and resolve architectural differences and interdependencies with different stakeholders 
    • Ensure success in achieving key ICT segment business objectives by leading, influencing broad cross-functional teams in collaborative team environment, within and other business units and partner teams, coordinating the right resources to get the job done.

    Education:

    • First degree in IT/Engineering or related discipline
    • Fluent in English

    Experience:

    6 - 13 years’ experience which includes:

    • 6 years of Telecom/communication industry experience, particularly in relation with Cloud, Cybersecurity and/or IoT space
    • Prior product management and/or segment management experience
    • Experience with the following licenses will be highly valuable:
    • AWS -- CLOUD PRACTITIONER
    • Azure -- MICROSOFT C. AZURE FUNDAMENTALS
    • Google Cloud, Huawei, SAP, Cisco, Cisco Meraki, Aruba, Nokia Nuage Network, Juniper and TI Management
    • Analytical skills: ability to analyze both quantitative and qualitative information.

    Manager - Partner Management

    Reports To: Senior Manager - Partner Management

    Division: Digital Services

    Mission:

    • Oversee all aspects of the partner management value chain, ensuring that the DS Division maintains sustainable, high performing and profitable partner relationships.
    • Manage the process for onboarding, performance monitoring, and termination of partner services in line with business exigencies.

    Description:

    • Ensure effective implementation of sub-divisional strategy by providing direction, structure, business plans, and support.

    • Drive research, investigate opportunities in the market, assess partner value propositions, and build an industry network and profile that allow MTN Digital Services to secure strategic partnership opportunities to advance the digital business strategy.
    • Maintain strategic relationships with key industry stakeholders such as NCC VAS Aggregators and Licensees, technology platform providers, application developers, advertisers, and agencies.
    • Manage third-party dependencies and secure the necessary engagement and resource alignment for the creation of co-developed product features.

    Education:

    • A first degree in a related field
    • MBA is desirable.

    Experience:

    6–13 years’ experience, which includes:

    • A minimum of 4 years of managing products
    • Experience in collaborating with and influencing both internal and external stakeholders
    • A good understanding of MNOs, OTT/e-commerce players, and the Nigerian digital ecosystem
    • Project Management
    • Experience in digital product management, e-commerce, or consulting will be a plus.

    Senior Manager - RMS.Digital Services NG

    Reports To: General Manager - Business Growth

    Division: Digital Services

    Mission:

    • To define the strategy and manage the Rich Media content services portfolio lifecycle (from inception to launch and winding down products that no longer meet consumer needs), which includes enhancements of existing products and services.  The senior specialist analyses market data and customer insights to identify profitable opportunities, make decisions, develop the roadmap and collaborate with strategic partners to deliver world class Rich Media Content Services offerings that shared value, drive optimal customer engagement and increase revenue. 
    • Drive MTN’s Digital strategy and execution in terms of all deployment in the enhancement and promotion of the Nigerian digital ecosystem. This will include but is not limited to digital content development, digital advertising, enhancing the MTN corporate and brand equity, social media and Group digital platforms and properties.

    Description:

    • Review telecommunications market and contribute to the development of strategies for MTNN products and services, demonstrating an understanding of MTNN business strategies and needs of the customer.
    • Develop detailed plans in support of approved strategies, organizing required resources, monitoring and periodically reporting progress of plans. 
    • Direct and provide a strategic framework for product managers to develop new data, portals and messaging products.

    Education:

    • Manager track record of 3 years or more; with at least 3 years in relevant sector/ industry

    Manager - Technical Systems Support

    Reports To: Senior Manager - Radio Frequency Planning

    Division: Network 

    Mission:

    • To manage the design and development of software solutions for MTN Nigeria Network Group, as well as evaluate and take responsibility for software applications and solutions purchased from suppliers.
    • Manage and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the Technical System Support team, ensuring optimum performance and continually meeting the support needs and expectations of the systems users.

    Description:

    • Direct Special Projects Team to develop creative solutions to MTNN’s coverage enhancement needs.
    • Oversee, manage and direct the design and development of databases and manage secured data backup in all applications on a regular basis.
    • Ensure all IT platforms within the group upon which MTN Nigeria’s data/information is stored are correctly dimensioned for present and future requirements.
    • Suggest the best (state-of-the-art) applications available to MTNN , which supports the its core network rollout objectives (competitive coverage, quality and capacity of network, etc).
    • Direct responsibility for tools and systems that are used for network rollout, monitoring and configuration management
    • Must ensure high system availability (ideally 24/7) as this has direct impact on engineering productivity for rollout and network performance management and reporting
    • Ensure that systems are adequately dimensioned for optimum performance in all regions of operation
    • Ensure accurate and sufficient GIS information is maintained and fed back to management through the HOD and other departments

    Education:

    • First degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or related field

    • M.Sc. Degree would be an advantage

    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an area of specialisation; with experience in supervising/managing others
