    Lube Plant Control Room Operator - LUBE

    Job Purpose:

     

    The Control Room Operator is responsible for the continuous monitoring, coordination, and control of all production processes and equipment from the control room. The role ensures that operations run smoothly, efficiently, and in full compliance with established quality, safety, and environmental standards. This position serves as the communication hub between field operators, maintenance, and production management, ensuring real-time decision-making and effective plant performance.

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

    Operational Monitoring and Control

    • Continuously monitor production activities and process parameters via DCS/SCADA systems and other control instruments.
    • Ensure production processes operate within defined parameters to achieve optimal product quality and throughput.
    • Adjust control settings as necessary to maintain process stability and efficiency.
    • Promptly identify and report abnormalities, alarms, or equipment malfunctions to the relevant supervisor or maintenance team.

    Filling Line Operator - LUBE

    Job Purpose:

    The Filling Line Operator is responsible for the efficient operation, monitoring, and maintenance of filling machines and equipment used in product packaging. This role ensures that all filling activities are carried out safely, accurately, and in compliance with established quality and production standards to meet daily output targets.

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

    Equipment Operation and Monitoring

    • Operate filling line machinery for packaging lubricants and related products in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
    • Set up, calibrate, and adjust machines to ensure correct fill volumes, labeling, and sealing.
    • Monitor production parameters to maintain consistent product quality and output.

    QHSE Supervisor

    Job Purpose:

    The QHSE Supervisor ensures compliance with Matrix QHSE policies and procedures, supervises the activities of QHSE Officers, conducts induction trainings, and oversees safe systems of work to maintain safety across all facility operations. He/She supports the QHSE Team Lead in conducting investigations, facilitates inductions and toolbox meetings for PTW jobs, monitors truck assessments, and executes other QHSE-MS–related tasks.

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

    • Drive compliance with Matrix Energy Policies, standards, and procedures, local and International HSE regulations, in Matrix Depot.
    • Support the Head QHSE and team with implementing effective QHSE policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure that the Matrix Group's overall objectives are met.
    • Accountable for the quality and critical review of QHSE data reported to QHSE Team Lead
    • Collate and report QHSE Performance Measurements from the facility and ensure consistency in data reporting and interpretation.
    • Execute the Matrix Terminal Waste Management Plan.
    • Prepare weekly reports to QHSE Team Leads.
    • Deliver QHSE training for Matrix Terminals staff and contractors to ensure practices are in full compliance with the safe systems of work at the site. These trainings include Site HSE Induction, PTW, Life Saving Rules, ISO 14001 Awareness, Confined Space, Unsafe Acts Auditing, Fire Fighting, Use of PPE, Waste Management & Safe Handling of Chemicals.
    • Investigate and complete the process for closing out all Accident Investigation Reports and prepare/submit lessons learned to the Head QHSE for promulgation to the management.
    • Ensure toolbox meetings are implemented as part of the company’s training and QHSE program.
    • Conduct induction training for new employees, visitors, and contractors as applicable.
    • Carry out specific QHSE-MS implementation tasks.
    • Support the Matrix Energy Group Operation and Maintenance Manager on QHSE issues, especially resulting from activities on site.
    • Ensure all worksites are HSE compliant with Company policies and safety standards.
    • Support the Cascade of Learning from Incidents, best practices, and drive implementation of HSE practices.

    Warehouse/Logistics Supervisor

    To oversee and coordinate all warehouse and logistics operations within the Lube Manufacturing Plant, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, inventory control, and dispatch of base oils, additives, packaging materials, and finished lubricants. The role ensures optimal stock management, cost-efficient logistics, and compliance with quality, safety, and operational standards.

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

    Production Officer/Blender

    Job Purpose:

    To execute and monitor blending, filling, and packaging operations in the lube plant in accordance with production plans, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality standards. The role ensures accurate product formulation, proper documentation, and compliance with safety, quality, and efficiency requirements to support smooth plant operations.

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

    Blending Operations

    • Carry out blending of base oils and additives according to approved formulations and blending instructions.
    • Operate blending equipment (mixers, pumps, tanks, heaters, and measuring instruments) safely and efficiently.
    • Ensure accurate measurement and transfer of raw materials to blending tanks following batch recipes.
    • Monitor and control process parameters such as temperature, viscosity, and mixing time to achieve required product specifications.
    • Report any deviations or abnormalities in blending operations promptly to the Production Supervisor.

     Filling and Packaging

    • Supervise and participate in filling operations for various lubricant grades in drums, gallons, and smaller packs.
    • Ensure filling machines are properly set up, calibrated, and maintained to minimize wastage and spillage.
    • Verify packaging materials (containers, caps, labels, and cartons) for conformity before use.
