The selected candidate will supervise and trains field level nutrition staff, perform monitoring and support supervision of field activities, guide LGA partners on program planning and participate in staff capacity building. She/He coordinates the implementation of Severe Acute Malnutrition, Moderate Acute Malnutrition practices and other supportive Nutrition programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implements a comprehensive maternal infant and young child nutrition program (MIYCN) Baby Friendly Community initiative (BFCI) approach.
- Provides technical support to CMAM and BSFP program component within the community including ensuring awareness sessions, screening, and tracking.
- Develops and supervise an effective mother-to-mother support group within the area of implementation.
- Trains and mentors, the emergency response program staff, and the integrated community health promoters through the identification of capacity gaps and carrying out refresher trainings and on the job trainings.
- Develop key messages in nutrition to the targeted beneficiaries and ensure it is delivered appropriately.

The Senior Protection Officer will be responsible for the technical supervision and coordination of all protection-related activities in Maiduguri. He/ She will collaborate with grant unit to ensure compliance with donor regulations, monitor budget and ensure adequate burn rate with support from the finance team and protection Manager. He/She provides appropriate and timely oversight on the supervision of case management services, supporting, coaching, and overseeing the work of protection officers, ensuring that the training needs and capacity building for case workers teams and protection officers are addressed in a timely fashion, harmonized across LGAs and that protection services and activities are delivered in line with INTERSOS and international quality standards.

The Warehouse Data Officer will be responsible under overall supervision of Warehouse In-charge to the common Warehouse activities, assessment & analysis related data implemented within the framework of the project plans, ensuring that they are delivered following INTERSOS standards, and that these activities are achieving timely results.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Main responsibilities:
- Understand, implement and / or maintain standard INTERSOS inventory management policies and procedure;
- Provide information and logistics support to partners/program and warehouse staff where necessary;
- Responsible for data keeping/documentation at all times. Take lead in data tracking of all WH/Logistics activities.
- Responsible for documentation of all receipt and dispatch (received notes/Delivery note/Stock transfer sheet/Waybills) are complete and archived in compliance with INTERSOS standards (scan documents and archive digital versions on computer) BOTH SOFT AND HARD COPIES.
- Ensure the maintenance of Warehouse and any Logistics relevant document.

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Maiduguri internal warehouse. This includes supervising the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring safety and compliance with INTERSOS standards, and coordinating support services such as guest house maintenance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Warehouse & Stock Management

The Nutrition Assistant supports direct implementation of CMAM activities and manages the activities of including passive case finding at the OTPS and referrals. He/She is responsible for providing quality Infant & Young Child Feeding (IYCF) – E services at community and facility levels. The incumbent will engage in and will work with other team members in the delivery of optimal infant and young child feeding in emergencies.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Awareness raising:
- Create awareness and sensitize the community on CMAM practices, IYCF, malnutrition, and the causes of malnutrition and treatment of malnutrition.
- Participate in the screening of children less than five years, referral and follow up of malnourished beneficiaries at the community level.
- Implement sensitization activities for targeted communities about CMAM, IYCF with support from MOH, community leaders and other key stakeholders at LGA level.
- Organize and lead the formation of Mother-to-Mother Support Groups for IYCF with the support of IYCF/Nutrition Officer.
- Ensure strong communication links with all other CMAM staff, providing advice and support to all other staff members on infant and young child feeding issues as and when they arise.
- Conduct education sessions within the surrounding community on the importance of infant and young child feeding (IYCF) practices in conjunction with community mobilisers.
- Aid in establishing care group approach (CGs) within the community to provide additional support for mothers and extend knowledge of good infant and young child feeding (IYCF) practices.
