PURPOSE

To assist the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Manager in implementing global best practices in health safety and environmental programs/activities.

THE JOB

• Inspect the facility to report, close out/ escalate any possibility for the occurrence of accidents, fire outbreaks and hazards to ensure prompt response and preventive resolution.
• Check the facility to ascertain that all environmental and safety equipment’s are in ready to use condition and keep stock and reporting each’s status as routinely required
• Advice and counsel employees on the implication of maintaining a safe working environment and complying with safe work ethics.
• Monitor the operations within the factory to ensure appropriate use of Personal Protective equipment (PPE) and communicate corrections where variations exist.

THE PERSON MUST

PURPOSE

Responsible for ensuring compliance/implementation and maintenance of Quality Assurance, Food Safety, GMP and QMS programs.

THE JOB

• Collect, compile and analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the quality management system
•  Monitor appropriate documentation against requirements to ensure conformance with Quality Management system (QMS) requirements including associated risks and opportunities for the process assigned.
• Support and participate in on-site quality audits conducted by external providers (2nd and 3rd Party audits).
•  Develop, recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions associated with non-conformities identified.
• Ensure proper reporting of violation or potential violation to duly authorized person as appropriate and/or required and ensure compliance.

PURPOSE

To ensure that products or services meet established quality standards and specifications by monitoring, inspecting, and testing production processes and outputs.

THE JOB

• Ensure that necessary Laboratory analysis is conducted with well calibrated equipment to evaluate product quality and compliance with current good manufacturing practices.
• Daily management of the quality processes in the factory in line with specified standards to meet regulatory requirements to ensure compliance requirements to ensure compliance to standards.
• Monitor and prepare the factory for inspection by both internal and external inspections and ensure communication of best practice to system owners and management.
•  Educate system owners in the factories on food safety and quality management system (FSMS/QMS/TPM) etc.

PURPOSE

Operate and maintain the water treatment plant, pumps, and dose chemicals accordingly, as necessary for the provision of potable water for production and infrastructure use.

THE JOB

• Operate water treatment plants, boreholes and pumps.
• Dose chemicals accordingly requisite for water treatment and check the corresponding parameters of water output with the Quality Assurance Laboratory attendant.
• Diagnose malfunctioning water systems: locate cause of breakdown and correct the problem.
• Inspect systems to assess materials or equipment needs and prepare requisition list for materials requirement for supervisor’s approval accordingly report any malfunction or damage items to the superior.
• Adhere strictly to professional, statutory, safety and regulatory requirements during deployment of tools.
• Carryout maintenance and repair activities in compliance with GMP AND HSE standards.

THE PERSON MUST

• Ability to utilize diverse tools and machines with possession of practical aptitude.
• Ability to comprehend quality control techniques.
• Acceptable knowledge of safety and health principles.
• Good attention to details.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

QUALIFICATION

• 5 O’ level credits including Mathematics & English in not more than 2 sittings.
• NABTEB/Trade Test.

EXPERIENCE

• 2 years in similar industry.
• Technical Certifications will be an added advantage.

PURPOSE

The Mechanical Technician will be charged with the responsibility of carrying out maintenance on all the factory equipment with instructions and specifications.

THE JOB

• Repair any fault or damage in the machines such as production, packaging, warehouse, raw material silo, boilers, and chillers any area where service is needed.
• Carry out all kinds of maintenance strictly with the use of checklist/Machine drawing.
• Report any malfunction or damage items to the superior.
• Keep proper record of time taken for job completion, spare parts replacement and report observation made for future planning.
• Carryout Why-Why analysis on repeated problems and troubleshoot problems to aid effective maintenance.
• Participate fully in the achievement of KPI And the objective assigned to you.

THE PERSON MUST

• Ability to achieve and maintain high standards with meticulous attention to detail.
• Must possess clear and accurate reporting skills as well as proficient written and verbal communication skills.
• Assertiveness and ability to defend position on quality related matters.

QUALIFICATION

• 5 O’ level credits including Mathematics & English in not more than 2 sittings.
• NABTEB/Trade Test.

EXPERIENCE
