Health, Safety & Environment (hse) Assistant - Honeywell Flour Mills, Sagamu at Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc

PURPOSE

To assist the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Manager in implementing global best practices in health safety and environmental programs/activities.

THE JOB

• Inspect the facility to report, close out/ escalate any possibility for the occurrence of accidents, fire outbreaks and hazards to ensure prompt response and preventive resolution.
• Check the facility to ascertain that all environmental and safety equipment’s are in ready to use condition and keep stock and reporting each’s status as routinely required
• Advice and counsel employees on the implication of maintaining a safe working environment and complying with safe work ethics.
• Monitor the operations within the factory to ensure appropriate use of Personal Protective equipment (PPE) and communicate corrections where variations exist.

THE PERSON MUST

QUALIFICATION

• National Diploma in related discipline.
• Basic training in safety procedures.

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 2 years in food Processing Company.
