    CCR Officer - Packing Plant

    Job Summary

    • The CCR Officer at the Packing Plant in Ibese will oversee the central control room operations, ensuring efficient, safe, and timely packing of products.
    • The role involves monitoring and controlling the packing processes, coordinating with various departments to ensure optimal production output and quality standards.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities

    • Monitor the entire packing process from the control room and ensure optimal operation of all equipment.

    Network Engineer

    Role Mission

    • The Network Engineer is responsible for the daily performance and availability of the organization’s Local and Wide Area Networks (LAN & WAN).
    • Analyze the network and support all users, including team members and clients, and fix any issues related to TCP OSI layers 1 to 4.

    Head, Talent Management

    Job Purpose:

    • The function of this management role is to guide and manage Talent for DPL Limited. (two plant location: Ibese Ogun State and Obajana kogi State).
    • The role will also cover recruitment and selection, transfers and redeployments, performance management while focusing overall on the achievement of Succession Planning.
    • The Head, Talent Management leads talent management practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented high-performance culture that emphasizes quality, productivity, goal attainment and empowerment and is responsible for the development of processes and metrics that supports the achievement of DPL’ s business goals.

    Key Accountabilities

    • Highly confidential individual who will give a clear picture with full understanding of how each SBU is running and what is happening at all levels regarding talent management.
    • Use effective people skills to always ensure good relationships with all employees and external contacts.
    • Develop and implement HR planning, produce accurate HR reports weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly to provide accurate information to Management.
    • Benchmarking and undertaking searches and surveys for best HR recruitment and talent management practices.
    • Manage a high-volume workload. The Head Talent Management will be expected to keep up with paperwork and meticulous diary-keeping to manage all workloads associated with the talent management process and development across the three SBUs.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Finance Officer

    Job Summary

    • Dangote Cement Plc is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Officer to join our Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for administering accounting operations to meet legal requirements.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Review CAPEX purchase requisitions and ensure accurate upload of all fixed assets in the fixed asset register.
    • Calculate and record depreciation for all fixed assets in accordance with IFRS and DCP’s depreciation policies.
    • Review, interpret and apply fixed assets policies to fixed asset transactions at the plant including purchase, valuation, revaluation, accruals and disposal.
    • Reconcile the fixed asset sub-ledger to the general ledger on a periodic basis.
    • Review supplier invoices and supporting documents against invoice processing checklist in order to establish completeness and validity of details.
    • Generate variance analysis of planned vs. actual activity rates and standard prices on a monthly basis and investigate variances.
    • Match supplier invoices to purchase orders prior to processing to ensure consistency and identify errors/discrepancies/irregularities
    • Allocate costs for central or joint expenditure to relevant cost centers in line with DCP’s cost allocation policies
    • Ensure timely submission, accuracy and validity of inventory, gross margin schedules to the Team Lead, Management Accounting.
    • Ensure all new assets are properly labelled and set up in the fixed asset register and individual asset account.

    Educational and Work Experience

    Job Summary  

    • Overall responsibility for the section, implementation of instrumentation engineering and maintenance policies with company policies and procedures to ensure optimal plant availability for production

    Key Duties & Responsibilities

    • Execute routine check-ups of instrumentation equipment according to maintenance schedule plan, workload, work force availability and company procedures.

    Deputy Sectional Head - Instrumentation, Power Plant

    Job Summary 

    • Responsible for devising, selecting, setting up, and operating electronic instrumentation and related electromechanical or electrohydraulic apparatus used for operational and environmental testing of mechanical, structural, or electrical equipment, and translates test data for engineering personnel by performing the following duties.

    • To assist Section Head, Instrumentation

    • Preventive and corrective maintenance of Instrumentation and Control System of Gas Turbine based power plant and peripheral equipment.
    • Ensure timely procurement actions for maintenance spares required.
    • Ensure personnel safety & health and ensure good housekeeping during all maintenance jobs.
    • To devise appropriate PM schedules for all critical equipment as per OEM recommendations and ensure proper implementation.
    • Ensure discipline, skill enhancement and motivation of subordinates.
    • Install or direct technical personnel in installation of unit in test chamber or other test facility.
    • To ensure proper operation of test apparatus during test cycle to produce, regulate, and record effects of actual or simulated conditions such as vibration, stress, temperature, humidity, pressure, altitude, and acceleration.
    • Analyze, convert test data to usable form, and prepares graphs and written reports to translate test results.
    • Use computerized equipment and software to perform testing functions and produce graphs.
    • Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Section Head, Instrumentation from time to  time. 

    Requirements. 

    • A Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering with Power option, or its equivalent in a relevant discipline.
    • Minimum of 15 experience in Gas Turbine based power plants Instrumentation maintenance.
    • Well conversant with Instrumentation philosophies, Instrumentation Standards, Engineering  Standards and regulations.
    • Knowledge of various kinds of Instrumentation and design philosophy of complete package, Knowledge of different DCS systems & Control Logics,
    • Good knowledge of power plant processes, Knowledge of Governor control, Turbine control systems, Fire and Gas Detection system, communication systems and Integration of different  control systems.
