Job Summary:
As the Inventory Assistant you will support activities related to warehouse maintenance and goods receipt, storage handling, monitoring, and dispatch in support of the delivery of high-quality programming to the poor and vulnerable. You will help ensure goods entrusted to the organization by donors are maintained by applying established standards and in compliance with CRS and donor regulations, and international and local supply chain accountability standards and requirements. Job Summary:
As a project Feedback officer, you will be the primary support person on Accountability in Benue and Plateau state, you will build capacity, monitor performance against accountability standards, and, crucially, will, in the first instance be the first point of contact for project participant, communities and other stakeholders complaints on CRS projects implemented in Benue and Plateau states, of Nigeria. Roles and Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all project participants are aware of the key elements of CRS’ FCRM SOP and accountability policy and procedures, and the expectations and standards required of CRS staff and partner staff, and how this should be applied within their roles.
- Develop Accountability IEC materials in language that can be widely understood (including people with low levels of literacy) by CRS’ program participants relevant program locations.
- In coordination with the Project Manager, facilitate, or support others to facilitate, awareness sessions and promotion of Accountability in a way that can be widely understood by program participants
- Maintain records of Accountability awareness raising and promotion activities, including numbers of participants, and pictural evidence and submit them to CP Accountability Officer, as required.
- Maintain and strengthen the Feedback Complaints and Response Mechanism (FCRM) which ensures all beneficiaries can make confidential complaints and be confident in response processes.
- In coordination with program staff and partners and in consultation with project participants, design FCRM that all project participants and communities can safely access. The FCRM should be used to promote accountability to CRS project participants and partners staff behavior against the CRS’ values as well as HAP standards.
- Develop standard talking points and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) align to nature of feedback in collaboration with MEAL Coordinator and Project Manager.
- Monitor complaints received and response (follow up) processes through developing and maintaining a logging or tracking mechanism.
- Adapt and improve the FCRM based on monitoring of its effectiveness
- Remembering confidentiality, with the Project Manager, analyze patterns and trends in complaints to help CRS improve its programming.

Job Summary:
The Nutrition Project Officer will be responsible for the overall management of the day-to-day activities of the nutrition program in assigned locations. Job Summary:

Job Summary:
As a lead for the RAPID project protection sector , you will lead the coordination and delivery of community-based protection interventions under the RAPID program, ensuring access to safe, inclusive, and accountable services. The role focuses on establishing and supporting community protection structures, strengthening referral and accountability systems, and overseeing psychosocial support interventions. You will engage with community actors and local authorities to guide protection planning and implementation, while ensuring adherence to safeguarding standards and integration of protection principles across program activities.
Your coordination and relationship management skills will ensure that the project for which you are responsible applies best practices and constantly works towards improving the impact of its benefits to those we serve.
Roles and Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and lead the implementation of all assigned project activities as outlined in the detailed implementation plan in line with CRS program quality principles and standards, donor requirements, and good practices.
- Ensure learning properly accompanies project activities throughout the project cycle. Support accountability through coordinating project evaluation activities and guiding partners in their efforts to reflect on project experiences. Analyze implementation challenges and report any inconsistencies and/or gaps to inform adjustments to plans and implementation schedules.
- Coordinate and oversee working relationships with all local project stakeholders and serve as the liaison between them and the project team to mobilize local actors and promote project activities and impact.
- Oversee and perform ad-hoc inspections of various processes and resources at project sites to ensure timely project activities implementation and adherence to established process standards and procedures. Ensure proper tracking of resource use for project activities through periodic budget reviews and follow-up with and assistance to implementing partner.
- Support and coordinate capacity building and technical support activities to ensure assigned project activities are implemented per project guidelines and standards.
- Coordinate provision of any logistical and administrative support to staff and partners.
- Ensure project documentation for assigned activities is complete with all required documents and is filed per agency and donor requirements. Assist with preparation of trends analysis reports and documentation of case studies and promising practices
- Lead community-based protection (CBP) activities including community structures and participatory protection analysis.
- Identify, analyze, and mitigate protection risks throughout the project cycle.
- Establish and monitor safe, ethical, and survivor-centered referral pathways.
- Support implementation of FCRM and integrate safeguarding and PSEA risk mitigation in activities.
- Coordinate with Protection Cluster and service providers to maintain referral pathways and service mapping.
- Integrate basic MHPSS and trauma-informed approaches into protection activities.

Job Summary:
The Security Assistant will support the Technical Advisor Security in the implementation of CRS safety and security policies in the operational security management of project activities. He will source for and collate relevant security information on safety and security threats within CRS project activity areas in the Benue and Plateau state.
Roles and Key Responsibilities:
- Collection of information regarding safety and security situation in Benue and Plateau states, as well as, on safety and security issues concerning CRS field operations.
- Conduct periodic security risks assessment of project activity environment
- Daily tracking and recording of all CRS vehicle field movements in the two locations.
- Working with partner organizations, the security assistant ensures programming activities are conducted in line with CRS Health Safety and Security protocols.
- Track staff movement and update security coordinator accordingly.
- Responding to security relevant incidents with information gathering and informing the Technical Advisor Security.
- Assist the security coordinator in Maintain a state-wide network of influential actors and communication of CRS status and mission in the State.
- Escort field staff on outreach activities providing security support where necessary.
- Ensuring CRS security operating procedures and contingency plans are adhered to by staff and partners.
- Ensures security, equipment, safety and integrity
- Collate security information, write and submit regular contextual updates (weekly/monthly situational reports) on project security context for the Technical Advisor.
- Work closely with CRS field teams to ensure all incidents and accidents are followed up with an official written Incident Report, which is then shared with relevant stakeholders and filed appropriately.
Policies and Procedures:
- Be familiar with CRS’s Safety and Security procedures and policies and Safe and Sound Manual and support the technical advisor and program teams in ensuring adherence to CRS security and safety protocols.
- Conduct periodic security risks assessment of project activity environment.
- Assist the Technical advisor security provide training(s) that may include Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Contingency Plans (CPs), Security Management, Incident Reporting, Prevention and Response Mechanisms, Communications (including satellite phones), and risk/threat analysis whenever required in the field.
Communication:
- Provide thorough security briefings to CRS staff and visitors upon arrival in the Benue and Plateau states.
- Initiate, review, and collate security incident reports for each field site.
- Ensure the communication equipment always functions (, sat phone, internet, phone lines). Follow-up on any calls made by satellite phone and radio.
- In collaboration with the Travel Team, monitor movement and provide security guidance to international and national staff on the current situation in operational areas.
- Daily track and record all CRS field movement within Plateau and Benue states. Maintain strong communication to report and record observations, information, and occurrences during staff movement.
- Serve as focal point with drivers during interstate movement by tracking the location of all vehicles and staff and communicate with CRS Security Focal Points in other states.
- Regularly conduct 30% field visits to assess field site compliance with safety and security procedure during field activities.
- Ensure vehicle and personal tracking systems are appropriate, fully resourced, and operational.
Staff and Vehicle Movement:
- Undertake continual assessments of equipment (including vehicles) and organizational assets to ensure that minimal conditions for security are met.
- Prevent loss and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures.
- Work closely with CRS field teams to ensure all incidents and accidents are followed up with an official written Incident Report, which is then shared with relevant stakeholders and filed appropriately.
- Check that facilities and equipment conform to security norms (closures and doorways are in a good state, open spaces lit up, buildings identified, fire extinguishers present, electrical installations buried, etc.).
- Review lodging options for staff in Benue and Plateau state field locations, ensuring they meet CRS standard operating procedures.
Coordination:
- Maintain a wide professional and personal network of influential actors and clearly communicate CRS’s status and mission in Adamawa State and Southern Borno NE, Nigeria.
- Build acceptance to facilitate continuity of current CRS programs and any future humanitarian or development programming by liaising with local communities, local authorities and other humanitarian actors and stakeholders within the two operating states.
- Coordinate regularly with the Technical Advisor Security on safety and security issues and fulfill all reporting requirements to the Country Office in Abuja.
Required Languages - Fluency in oral and written English. A basic knowledge of Tiv, Idoma, Hausa, or Mghavul will be an added advantage.)
Travel - 60% to field locations in Benue and Plateau.
