    Senior Lecturer (Marketing)

    Job Summary

    • Our client urgently requires the services of professional senior lecturer in Marketing who has a minimum of a Bachelor and master’s degrees in Marketing with at least 5 years lecturing experience.
    • Our client prefers a candidate who is resident in Lagos or any area close to Ogba or Berger, Lagos.

    Responsibilities
    The Job responsibilities for this position are as follows:

    • Responsible for managing taught programmes, including oversight of day to day operational processes (e.g. timetabling, assessment, examination systems) and programme accreditation processes.
    • Ensure that programme design and delivery comply with the quality standards and regulations of the Polytechnic.
    • Contribute to the development of academic processes across the institution.
    • Contribute to the development of learning and teaching strategies.
    • Teach a range of materials.
    • Develop and apply innovative and appropriate teaching techniques and material which create interest, understanding and enthusiasm amongst students.
    • Oversee the monitoring of student progress and provide advice and guidance to personal tutors and students as appropriate Research, enterprise and scholarship
    • Undertake and contribute to research, conducting individual research or collaborating with others.
    • Conduct individual or collaborative scholarly projects.
    • Lead collaborative research and / or enterprise activity producing high quality outputs with demonstrable impact, in particular influencing leading edge practice.
    • Engage in knowledge generation, knowledge exchange and knowledge transfer activities.
    • Be aware and informed of developments in higher education relevant to the development of learning and teaching and research strategies within the School, Faculty and University.
    • Managing people and resources
    • Provide academic leadership to those working within programme areas, for example by agreeing work plans to ensure that programmes are delivered effectively or organising the work of a team by agreeing objectives and work plans.
    • Contribute to the development of teams and individuals through the individual performance review process and providing advice on personal development.
    • Contribute to the overall management of the School / Faculty in areas such as resource management, business and programm.

    Deputy Registrar

    Job Responsibilties
    The Job responsibilities for this position are as follows:

    • Responsible to the Registrar in overseeing the general administration of the Registrar’s Office and performing the following;
    • Coordination and supervision of all activities of staff in the Registrar’s Office.
    • Preparation of internal and external correspondences for the Registrar.
    • Attend Principal Officers’ meeting for necessary dissemination of decisions taken as appropriate.
    • Preparation of decision extracts from the Principal Officers’ meetings, Administrative Officers and all other meetings of the Registrar with the Administrative Staff, and other divisions/departments.
    • Organize Registrar’s meetings with Heads of Units in the Registry, Administrative Staff, other Departments/Units in the University and visitors to the University.
    • Prepares appointment letters of Vice-Chancellor, Deputy Vice Chancellors, Directors, Associate Directors, Heads of Departments/Units and other key officers of the University.
    • Prepares the composition of Ad-Hoc Committees and Investigation Panels.
    • Reviewing and prepare the composition of University Standing/Statutory Committees.
    • Prepare and review the University Yellow Pages.
    • Prepare the Registrar’s speeches/papers at occasions as appropriate.
    • Supervision of the National Youth Service Corps members in the performance of their duties in the Office.
    • Preparation of monthly clearance and running list for the Corps members in the Registrar’s Office.
    • Attends to official mails as may be directed by the Registrar from time to time.
    • Handles all staff and non-staff petitions made to the Registrar.
    • Perform any other responsibilities as may be directed by the Registrar from time to time.

    Job Qualifications

    • This person must have Bachelor and Master’s Degrees in Accounting or Economics.
    • Minimum of 7 years’ experience with not less than 3 years in management position in an Academic Institution.
    • Previous experience in lecturing will be an added advantage.
    • A candidate who is resident in Lagos or any area close to Ogba or Berger, Lagos.

    Senior Production Supervisor

    Job Summary

    • Our client urgently needs the services of senior Production Supervisor who has a minimum of HND or BSc in Food Science Tech.

    Job Responsibilties

    • Provide operational guidelines to production team
    • Ensure that production target is met
    • Act as a first responder to production line questions, issues and concerns
    • Conduct training programs .
    • Provide pertinent follow up information to production managers, maintenance team and quality assurance team.
    • Champion safety protocols in all activities, participating in improvements to safety standards where appropriate.
    • Adhere to SOPs to elevate process control and minimize variability from operator to operator.
    • Provide edits and improvements to SOPs, as needed.
    • Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of environment and equipment in accordance with acceptable standards,
    • implementing improvements where appropriate.
    • Fill shifts as necessitated by vacations, staffing levels, necessary overtime.
    • Ensure all equipment is operating safely, at maximum efficiency and maintained to the highest standards by supporting the maintenance department schedule.
    • Submit work orders as necessary for equipment.
    • Conduct periodic one on one meeting with Operators to establish relationship and develop individual development plans.
    • Provide regular feedback on performance and conduct annual reviews for operators, in concert with the department managers.
    • Coordinate and manage on-boarding and training .
    • Support initiatives to ensure minimal waste during manufacturing.
    • Own assigned continuous improvement effort and report progress and track improvements.
    • Manage the workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules
    • Consult new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures
    • Detect issues in efficiency and suggest improvements
    • Perform verification of production output according to specifications
    • Provide weekly reports
    • Any other assignment from the management.

    Job Description

    • Our client operates a top notched Service Apartments at Ogba Lagos and currently requires the services of a skillful and professional Receptionist with a minimum of 3 years experience in the hospitality Industry.
    • This person must be very good with the use of Computer and relevant software applications used in the hospitality Industry. Previous experience will be an advantage.

    Responsibilities

    • Check-in and check-out guests to the company standards.
    • Provide keys, and show guests to rooms.
    • Advise guests on room features/utilities / local amenities.
    • Provide excellent customer service at all times and deal with all calls & emails efficiently and effectively.
    • Liaise with all managers on any issues and concerns.
    • Inputting high volume reservations correctly and noting any special requests.

    Requirements

    Laundry Attendant

    Job Description

    • Our client requires the aervices of a Laundry Attendant with a maximum of 3 years experience. Candidates who possess SSCE or OND will be better suitable for this job.
    • Persons living around OGBA or other areas close to OGBA in Lagos will be better prefered due to the high cost of transportation

    Responsibilities

    • Sorts all linen and separates and treats all stains.
    • Loads laundry into washer and adds specified amount of detergent, soap, or other cleaning agents.
    • Lifts clean, wet articles from washer and places them into dryers for measured time cycles.
    • Sorts dried articles according to type.
    • Folds and places items in appropriate locations for storage.
    • Handles contaminated articles per Hote franchise and standards.
    • Arrive to work on time and in proper uniform
    • Organize and maintain laundry operations on a daily basis to meet demand in a timely manner
    • Maintain daily and weekly records of clothing
    • Wash, dry and fold all linen using best standard practices

    • Ensure all equipment is maintained in good working order in order to maximize efficiency
    • Report any maintenance issues to Housekeeping Manager and completes Maintenance
    • Report any shortage of dry-cleaning materials to the appropriate Officer

    • Conduct daily cleaning of all laundry machines
    • Provide a weekly & monthly chemical inventory to Housekeeping Manager
    • Assist in monthly inventory count including discarded items
    • And any other assignment from the management.
