    Systems Engineer - Compute & Storage

    Job Purpose

    • The Systems Engineer - Compute & Storage, will primarily be responsible for the engineering, configuration, installation, maintenance, and upgrade of physical/virtual servers, storage, backups, and disaster recovery planning.
    • The Systems Engineer - Compute & Storage, will also be responsible for developing roadmaps, designs and automation of the infrastructure leveraging on several APIs, automation tools while also creating self-service for routine operations to customers and stakeholders

    Key Responsibilities
    Strategy & Planning:

    • Research, evaluate, and recommend hardware and software for servers, storage (SAN, NAS, SAS, SATA, SSD, etc), and backup solutions for varying applications and databases.
    • Implement and participate in infrastructure disaster recovery plans & business continuity activities.
    • Continuous development of scripts to automate repetitive administration tasks,
    • Validate system upgrades and patches when required.
    • Develop strategy for planning compute & storage capacity with roadmaps to ensure just-in-time (JIT) purchasing.
    • Deliver quality documentation allowing smooth day-to-day operations.
    • Translate business requirements into scalable infrastructure designs, cost models and forecasts.
    • Compliance with standards for quality, performance, or productivity.

    Operational Management:

    • Participate in on-call support rotation and implement solutions with proficient skills (upgrades, new releases, incidents, patching, deployment etc), as required by the business.
    • Identify, diagnose, and resolve connection, reliability, or performance issues.
    • Configure, manage, operate, and upgrade on-premises and cloud infrastructure.
    • Perform daily system checks, verifying the integrity and availability of all involved infrastructure resources and key processes.
    • Monitor and manage infrastructure with vCenter, vROPs, Cloudbolt, etc
    • Ensure that service desk requests are delivered timely customers. This includes the execution of SOPs, Incidents/Problems tickets and Change requests alongside other business as usual.
    • Ensure that performance, scalability, and security is maintained and optimized.
    • Identify opportunities to innovate, extend and enhance service delivery wherever possible.
    • Participate in disaster recovery plan and practicing recovery operations.
    • Partner with key vendors to maintain an understanding of new technology and leading practices.

    Formal Educational and Certification

    • University Degree in the field of Computer Science or “STEM” major (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) or related field.
    • Certification in VMware, NetApp, Cloud, or similar technologies is a plus.

    Knowledge and Experience:

    • Experience with cloud and container technology.
    • Minimum of 4 years of experience in supporting Server environments (Windows, Linux), VMware environments, and in managing (designing, configuring, upgrading, etc.) storage solutions and backup solutions.
    • 1 - 3 years of experience in managing public cloud-based solution and resources in multiple availability zones
    • Experience with Dell, Lenovo, Cisco UCS, HP, Nutanix and NetApp technologies.
    • Experience with NetApp storage technologies or alternatives like EMC, EqualLogic, or Nimble.
    • Experience with backup tools like Commvault or Veeam.
    • Experience monitoring production systems, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting.
    • Scripting languages (Powershell, Python, Ansible, Terraform).

    Account Reconciliation & Tax Management Officer

    Job Objectives

    • This is to ensure that all General Ledger accounts balances are reconciled, and all tax related matters are handled according to related laws and regulations.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Ensure accurate, timely filing of Federal, State and Local income tax returns and other business-related filings.
    • Develop and implement strategic tax planning for all necessary Federal and State Taxes.
    • Liaison with Tax consultants on tax issues affecting both the employees and employer as a company.
    • Find and implement opportunities for process improvement in company Tax procedures.
    • Review Tax returns and quarterly/yearly Tax projections.
    • Devote proper attention to informing other departments of discrepancies for timely resolution.
    • Daily call over of previous day transaction to ensure accuracy and correctness of posting/ accounting treatment of all transactions, daily general ledger proof.
    • Reconciliation: bank statements, proof of stock, sundry stock, PPE, cash advance and other general ledger accounts.
    • Participate in financial audits, responsible for necessary audit schedules.
    • Support and provide relevant inputs for monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports preparation.
    • Ensuring the completion of monthly reconciliations and follow through of unreconciled items for assigned accounts.
    • Develop and implement procedures for compliance and efficiency in an effort to reduce outstanding items.

    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with relevant professional qualifications
    • At least one relevant professional qualification e.g., ACCA, ACA.
    • Not less than 5 years’ experience in a Finance function.

    Team Lead, DevOps

    Job Purpose

    • Implement, deploy and monitor robust, stable and highly available technology platforms (i.e. systems, applications and services) that drive Interswitch business solutions

    Key Responsibilities
    Deployment of Switching Applications:

    • Build and Deployment Management (Jenkins) in a CI/CD workflow

    Automation:

    • Automation of Server management, incident resolution and deployment processes
    • Use of Chef, Puppet or Ansible for automation of processes, systems and server management.

    Application and Environment Management:

    • Ensure 24x7 Availability of all Deployment Environments.
    • Linux and Windows operating systems management and Shell scripting.
    • Cloud Solutions Management.
    • Management of distributed systems and container technologies like Docker/Kubernetes container infrastructure and orchestration.
    • Create visibility into site health and key performance indicators

    • Ensure up-to date patching and full compliance to security standards of the Deployment Environments.
    • Ensure up-to date documentation on the Deployment Environments

    Troubleshooting:

    • Troubleshoot reported issues, and proactively identify areas in need of optimization
    • Working with technical support engineers to resolve critical incidents.
    • Create and update clear troubleshooting guides for the Switching Applications

    Requests Fulfilment:

    • Implement Requests relevant to the operation and enhancement of Managed Applications and Environments

    Team Management:

    • Co-ordinate the completion of activities within the team
    • Customer Escalation management

    Educational Qualification

    • Good First Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering or other related area

    Experience:

    • Minimum of Four (4) years relevant experience
    • Service Management Certifications (e.g. ITIL) is an advantage
