    Executive Assistant

    Job Description
    Administrative Support:

    • Scheduling and Calendar Management: Manage executive calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments.
    • Correspondence: Handle incoming and outgoing communication, including emails, letters, and phone calls.
    • Meeting Preparation: Prepare agendas, presentations, and documents for meetings; take minutes and follow up on action items.
    • Travel Arrangements: Coordinate travel plans, including booking flights, accommodation, and transportation.
    • Document Management: Maintain files and records, both physical and digital, ensuring documents are organized and accessible.

    Financial and Accounting Responsibilities:

    • Financial Reporting: Assist with preparing financial reports, summaries, and analysis.
    • Budget Monitoring: Help in preparing and monitoring budgets, ensuring expenses are tracked and documented.
    • Bookkeeping: Maintain records of financial transactions, process invoices, and ensure payments are made on time.

    Project Management:

      • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, traders, and other key stakeholders in the industry.
      • Lead and manage the commodities team, fostering an environment that promotes collaboration and professional development.
      • Conduct risk assessments and develop risk management strategies to mitigate market volatility.
      • Ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards related to commodity trading and management.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field;
    • Proven experience (7+ years) in start up commodities trading, procurement, or supply chain management.
    • Strong understanding of the commodities market dynamics, including pricing, trading practices, and regulations.
    • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
    • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
