    Field Operations Supervision Services (Field Operator/Control Room Operator (CRO))

    Academics  BSc/HND in engineering or Science related discipline (Minimum)

    Key Skills & Experiences    

    • 3 to 8yrs hands-on experience in CRO/field production operations in a reputable oil and gas company.
    • Ability to work with a multi-discipline production team.
    • Basic understanding of process flow diagram (PFD).
    • Good working knowledge of PTW system, AMS and HSE procedures e.g 9 LSR/IOGP, PSF & Renaissance core values (CRISP)
    • Experience in a Renaissance Field Location (Tunu Node in particular) will be an add advantage.
    • Skills (added advantage)    Facility safety enforcement including Risk identification/mitigation, work crew communication and buddy system
    • Knowledge in safe work practices and use of SOPs, MOPO and IOGs
    • Flowstation and gas plant operations including Well testing, crude sampling, pressures monitoring, daily FLM, APM, OPS _WIT, facility start-up, stabilization, monitoring, control and shutdown.
    • Deep knowledge of wellhead systems (installation/retrieval of modified COM-unit, CCU, completion and testing/troubleshooting of various components and accessories)
    • Experience in operations of field control and safeguarding systems (pneumatic, hydraulic and electronic) including sensors, transmitters, actuators and valves.
    • Knowledge in fluid dynamics and mechanics.

    Roles and Duties

    • Operator of flow station, gas stations and associated assets in a safe and efficient manner in compliance with stipulated guidelines.
    • Coach, develop and lead a team of technicians in field operations
    • Manage day-to-day production operations field activities and manage safety and environmental issues.
    • Monitor, control and record production rates and performance.
    • Assess risk of daily jobs and escalate, when necessary, to Team Leaders
    • Start-up wells and facilities (hot and cold start).
    • Perform basic troubleshooting on wells and facilities to ensure stability.
    • Prepare the wells and facilities/equipment for (re) commencement of production/processing.
    • Perform routine well test, bean/choke changeout and sampling of producing wells.
    • Measure, validate and report production volumes accurately
    • Carryout ad-hoc annulus pressure monitoring of all wells in the production unit.
    • Perform periodic well integrity assurance tasks and activities (both well’s flow-wetted and non-flow-wetted components)
    • Perform daily first line monitoring of process parameters and variables.
    • Gather daily production data, determine the production performance.
    • Ensure optimized chemical injection rates are followed as advised.
    • Observe local instruments, gauges, and meters to verify conformance to standard operating practice.
    • Responsible for preparing equipment for maintenance including isolation, draining, steaming, and other procedures as required.
    • Execute routine production and maintenance operations and minor non-routine production and Maintenance activities as directed by his/her Team Leader
    • Responsible for preparation such as plant isolation etc., for day-to-day maintenance work.
    • Perform daily checks and minor maintenance based on the check list etc.
    • Collaborate with the maintenance team on assigned tasks and activities.
    • Take requested samples for analysis, take and record field data requested for general monitoring of plant performance
    • Participate in monthly HSSE-SP meeting and daily toolbox meeting
    • Maximize use of DCS to safely operate process plant.
    • Carry out Inlet manifold pressure checks
    • Remote line up of process equipment – both Flow station and Booster stations
    • Support Collation of production/ flare daily report data from the DCS
    • Carry out reset and safe startup operations using the DCS
    • Raise UA/UC
    • Manage HSE performance and deliveries of the Team.
    • Participate in vessel de-sanding activities.
    • Saver pit operation to prevent oil carryover.
    • Emergency response to prevent oil spill escalation.
    • Receive AGO and chemical into storage, manage accordingly with proper tracking.
    • Follow-up and update materials inventory in the store.

    Field Operations Supervision Services (Operations) – North Bank Node

    Minimum Requirements

    • OND/HND/B.Sc. in sciences/engineering with 8 – 10years work experience in field operations of oil and gas facilities.
    • Skill level competence in HSSE and Safe operations
    • Skill level competence in activity planning.
    • Skill level competence in operations of integrated oil and gas processing and export facilities
    • Skill level competence in operations and first line maintenance of oil and gas wells
    • Skill level competence in operations of well artificial lift systems.
    • Skill level competence in Control Room operations of DCS/Delta-V run facilities.
    • Skill level competence in Control Room operations of SIS/HIMA Planar-4 system to run facilities
    • Knowledge and skills in Emergency response in oil and gas operations.
    • Ability to read and interpret process engineering flow schemes (PEFS)
    • Problem-solving and good analytical skills.
    • Knowledge of Process and Personal safety
    • T_BOSIET certification

    The personnel will be responsible for the following:

    • Apply the emergency response procedure where and when necessary.
    • Report and close out Unsafe Acts and Unsafe Conditions
    • Serves as permit to work signatory and administer safe system of work.
    • Apply the Health Safety Security and Environment policy, legislation applicable to crude oil transfer and export.
    • Carry out first line maintenance on pumps, motors, separators, and valves.
    • Adhere to plant operational procedures.
    • Execute daily communication and Shift handover.
    • Prepare equipment for maintenance interventions, plant isolation etc.
    • Collaborate with other disciplines to execute planned activities.
    • Collaborate with Plant operators to execute front line maintenance activities in the plant.
    • Supervise the activities of the frontline maintenance team.
    • Troubleshooting of safety critical equipment and control/safeguarding system.
    • Supporting the maintenance team in maintaining facilities.
    • Assist the maintenance team to cope with high number of activities to sustain asset integrity/equipment availability.
    • Comply with HSE practices and procedures.
    • Assist in ensuring Technical Integrity and safe operation of new process & utility system to achieve the facility’s objectives.
    • Identify any area of new facilities requiring Change Control and document the change proposal.
    • Review operating procedure under current reality and propose changes.
    • Develop (Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and work packs.
    • Provide technical support in repairing outstanding mal-functioning equipment (e.g. crude transfer pumps etc)
    • Support the maintenance (operation) team in all trouble shooting exercises.
    • Participate in RCA (Root Cause Analysis), investigation and improvement initiatives.
    • Close out assigned MFI/audit actions for continuous improvements

    Work Cycle

    • The work location is Northbank node and accessible via water and Air.
    • The job activity period is daily on 12-hour (7am to 7pm) routine over a 21-day period.
    • There is a standard 3weeks on and 3weeks off schedule.
    • The successful candidate will manage own absences with his/her contractor for suitable qualified covers.
    • There may be need for periodic visits to Renaissance industrial area for training and official assignments.
    • Personnel may be required to work extended hours as need may arise.

    Instrument (Paco) Engineering Support Services - North Bank Node

    Academics    Trade Test Cert (IVQ) OND/HND/Bachelors) in electrical/electronic Engineering Discipline.

    Work Experience

    • Minimum of 3 – 5 years working experience in an oil and gas facility working as an Instrumentation Technician.
    • Experience in any Renaissance facility will be an added advantage.
    • Experience in actuator valves and ESD systems maintenance
    • Experience in PAS and fire protection systems.

    Skills

    • Experience in Safeguarding systems maintenance.
    • Field Instrumented Pneumatic / DCS systems
    • Experience in SIS/IPF HIMA Planar-4 systems.

    The Paco/Instrumentation Support will be responsible for the following:

    • Onsite responsibility for safe supervision of technicians during work execution.
    • Ensure performance assurance and proactive health checks of the associated components of the Robertshaw Panel integrated Control, Safety Instrumented and Fire & Gas Systems.
    • Ensure periodic health checks on Human Machine Interface workstations and Servers. Systems fault diagnosis and recovery.
    • Access and interpret Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID); Cause and Effects Matrix (C&E); Process Flow Scheme (PFS); Functional Logic Diagram (FLD); Instrument Loop Drawings (ILD) and Process Engineering Flow Scheme (PEFS) required for fault tracing and issues resolutions.
    • Work closely with service Contractor(s) towards safe delivery of vendor-based maintenance jobs.
    • Initiate and follow up with spares procurement towards expedited delivery for maintenance execution.
    • Ensure technical integrity of assets through Preventive and Corrective Maintenance activities, quality assurance and performance standard verification of safety critical equipment.
    • Ensure field instrumentation availability and reliability towards meeting business targets on hydrocarbon processing and export operations.
    • Maintain Systems availability for the continuous operation of the facility.
    • Integrate with other disciplines to achieve Asset integrity on continuous basis.
    • Promotes site safety and continuous hazard identification, mitigation, and close-out.
    • Other assignments for continuous improvements as exigent.

    Field Operations Supervision Services (Mechanical) Otumara Node

    Academics: Bachelors/HND/OND/IVQ LEVEL 5 or equivalent in Mechanical/electrical/electronic Engineering Discipline or any science.

    REQUIREMENT

    • Minimum of 5 years working as a field Operations Technician, Mechanical technician and permit coordinator in an oil and gas producing field location.
    • Must have at least five (5) years’ experience in Otumara Node RENAISSANCE.
    • Ability to read and interpret Process/Utility Engineering Flow Schemes (PEFS/UEFS) and process drawings.
    • Skill level at PTW management/Coordination.
    • Basic understanding of Distributed control system (Delta V).

    Field Operations Supervisor – Mechanical will be responsible for the following:

    • Lead a team of mtce techs to deliver simple and complex activities in the plant.
    • Competent in PTW management and administration.
    • Prepare Worksite for safe execution of Maintenance & Operations activities.
    • Management of facility shutdown & Isolation process.
    • Experience in the maintenance of hydrocarbon and water processing equipment
    • Mechanical maintenance field supervisor should have capacity to provide operations with engineering support to troubleshoot all rotating & static equipment problems and provide detailed analysis and recommendation to these problems.
    • Mechanical maintenance field supervisors should have basic knowledge/ skill in pump alignment, rotor balancing, clearance checks, machining operation, material selection, etc.
    • Field Instrumented Pneumatic / DCS systems knowledge.
    • Experience in SOLAR turbine minor troubleshooting and repairs.
    • Experience in Atlas copco instrument air compressor troubleshooting.
    • Apply the emergency response procedure where and when necessary.
    • Knowledgeable about MOPO & SIMOPS in Management of concurrent activities in Otumara/Escravos Node fields.
    • Monitor HSE performance key indicators and ensure targets are achieved, report incidents (UA/UC/Near Misses) for tracking and closeout.
    • Support process optimization and make Proposals for Improvement and follow through to achieve benefits.
