    Branch Leader

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Responsible for ensuring that quality staff are recruited, motivated, trained and retained in the branch, and ultimately, in the Bank.
    • Develop a marketing plan that will increase market share / penetration. Incumbent is expected to increase the business of the Branch by increasing the number of new accounts and developing new business areas.
    • Review the marketing plan of the branch and prepare target market study covering the industries / markets defined to serve
    • Ensure adequate adherence to Credit policies, processes and procedures
    • Foster involvement in the ‘team’ concept by listening, sharing ideals and information in the interest of the Bank
    • Ensure customer facilities applications are thoroughly appraised, review all applications, and make appropriate recommendations / decisions
    • Conduct collateral inspections and appraisals. Assemble and process files and forward processed applications to management with recommendations
    • Provides leadership, coaching, training/development and supervision to all members of its team.
    • Participate in all marketing plans and strategy development initiatives for the Branch that will increase the market share/market penetration of the Branch.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree / HND
    • Minimum requisite experience - 10 years relevant banking experience
    • Knowledge of the basic profit goals of the Bank for the purpose of integrating them with individual and branch marketing goals and objectives.
    • Excellent customer relations and service excellence skills.
    • Leadership & Supervisory skills and performance management skills
    • Good knowledge of Financial Analysis and report writing and presentation skills.

    Relationship Manager

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Aggressive growth of the deposit portfolio of the group in line with set targets.
    • Develop structured financial solutions from routine opportunities.
    • Management of existing customer relationships for effective wealth creation.
    • Timely implementation of customers’ instructions e.g. check encasement, funds transfers, check / account confirmations, etc.
    • Maintain top quality Risk Assets.
    • Follow up on transactions with units handling them.
    • Review credit proposals for presentations to management for approval.
    • Account review and monitoring.
    • Follow up on facility repayment and recovery of delinquent accounts.
    • Daily calls on customers – physically and / or by phone.
    • Daily call log of activities to supervisor and division head.

    Requirements

    • Minimum educational level – Bachelor’s Degree in social science or humanities or HND with a Master’s Degree.
    • Minimum requisite experience: 3 years relevant banking experience.
    • Basic knowledge of accounting and finance.
    • Good oral and written communication.
    • Good knowledge of bank products.
