    Pump Attendant (Egbeda)

    Position Overview:

    • We are seeking a reliable and responsible individual to join our team as a Petrol Pump Attendant. The primary responsibility of this role is to assist customers with fueling their vehicles efficiently and ensure compliance with safety guidelines within the petrol pump premises. The ideal candidate should demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a dynamic environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner as they arrive at the petrol pump.
    • Assist customers with fueling their vehicles, including pumping fuel, checking oil levels, and adding fluids as needed.
    • Dispense the correct amount and type of fuel requested by customers and handle cash or card transactions accurately and efficiently.
    • Provide information related to fuel prices, products, and petrol pump services to customers.
    • Ensure that all safety guidelines and operating procedures are followed at all times to maintain a secure and hazard-free environment.
    • Monitor fuel levels in underground storage tanks and report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor.
    • Conduct routine inspections of petrol pump facilities and equipment, including pumps, payment systems, and safety devices, identifying and reporting any maintenance or repair needs promptly.
    • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the petrol pump area, including fuel pumps, islands, restrooms, and surrounding grounds.
    • Keep records of fuel sales, transactions, and inventory levels accurately and handle basic administrative tasks as required.
    • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operation of the petrol pump and resolve any customer complaints or issues satisfactorily.

    Job Description

    • The Account Assistant will support the accounting department by performing various clerical and administrative tasks and will assist in maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial data.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist in inputting financial transactions into accounting software, and maintain and update financial records, spreadsheets, and databases.
    • Ensure all documentation is accurate and complete.
    • Assist with processing invoices, receipts, and payments.
    • Track and resolve discrepancies in accounts payable and receivable.
    • Prepare and send out invoices to clients.
    • Assist in reconciling bank statements with company records.

    • Previous experience in an accounting or administrative role is preferred.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
    • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage).
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
