Description 

• We are currently seeking highly qualified individuals to fill the following positions. Successful candidates will play a crucial role in overseeing the plumbing and electrical operations of various projects.

Responsibilities 

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day plumbing operations on various projects.
• Plan and supervise the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems, including fixing, piping, and drainages.
• Exercise general control over all activities in plumbing works and water treatment.
• Adequate care and maintenance of pipes, piping networks, equipment, and PPEs in their possession.
• Handle sewage works and review work progress daily.
• Comply with all reasonable safety policies and procedures of the company, including reporting hazards or incidents via the company’s reporting process.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure projects are carried out efficiently and effectively.
• Conduct regular inspections, train, and mentor plumbing staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an OND/HND qualification.
• 2-5 years working experience in a similar role.
• Must be competent in handling sewage works.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Install and enhance electrical systems and components, including fuses, lights, and wiring.
• Inspect, test, and diagnose issues with electrical systems and components to ensure proper functioning.
• Perform all work in a manner that meets and follows electrical codes, blueprints, and standards.
• Complete required documentation of repairs and service information, adhering to all company’s policies and procedures.
• Ensure adequate inventory of necessary supplies and parts.
• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and components
• Prevent breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables, cleaning circuits, etc.
• Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units.

Requirements

• Minimum qualification of a Trade Test or HND qualification.
• Four years of experience installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems, components, and equipment; or
• An equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints
• Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
