    Fashion Design Assistant

    Job Summary

    We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Fashion Design Assistant to support the design and production team in creating luxury fashion pieces. The ideal candidate will assist in fabric selection, design sketches, fittings, sample coordination, and production follow-ups. This role requires a strong eye for detail, organization, and passion for high-end fashion design and craftsmanship.

    Key Responsibilities

    Design Support and Coordination:

    • Assist in sketching new designs and preparing mood boards or design concepts.
    • Support the designer in developing seasonal collections and custom pieces.
    • Coordinate with the production team to ensure design specifications are accurately executed.
    • Help source fabrics, trims, and accessories aligned with brand aesthetics.

    Sample and Production Management:

    • Track sample development and ensure timely delivery for fittings and reviews.
    • Maintain detailed records of samples, measurements, and fabric swatches.
    • Follow up with tailors, pattern makers, and suppliers on production updates.
    • Inspect finished samples for quality and consistency before approval.

    Fittings and Quality Control:

    • Organize and assist during fittings, noting corrections and adjustments.
    • Ensure garments meet design, fit, and finishing standards.
    • Coordinate any necessary revisions with the design and production team.

    Inventory and Material Management:

    • Maintain an updated database of available fabrics and trims.
    • Monitor stock levels of materials used for designs and communicate replenishment needs.
    • Ensure proper storage and labeling of design and production materials.

    Documentation and Reporting:

    • Prepare daily and weekly reports on design progress and sample readiness.
    • Update style sheets, look books, and product descriptions.
    • Maintain accurate design archives and visual references for future collections.

    Skills

    Technical Skills:

    • Knowledge of fashion illustration
    • Knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, and fabric types.
    • Basic understanding of fashion production processes.
    • Strong digital organization and documentation skills.

    Education and Experience

    • Portfolio of previous design or coordination work is an added advantage.

    Accountant

    Job Summary

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to manage the financial operations of our luxury retail store. The ideal candidate will handle daily accounting activities, confirm and reconcile payments, maintain accurate inventory records, and ensure compliance with financial and tax regulations. This role requires precision, integrity, and strong analytical skills to support the financial health and growth of the brand.

    Key Responsibilities

    Daily Accounting and Sales Reporting:

    • Prepare and submit daily financial reports to management, including:
    • Total sales breakdown (cash, card, and transfer payments).
    • Daily expenses, deductions, and cash movements.
    • Pending customer payments and outstanding balances.
    • Pre-order payment updates and balances.

    Payment Confirmation and Verification:

    • Confirm and track all payments made through:
    • Bank transfers for customer purchases.
    • Pre-orders and online transactions.
    • Delivery and personal shopper payments.

    Payment Reconciliation:

    Reconcile and monitor:

    • Daily sales across in-store and online channels.
    • Operational expenses (fueling, logistics, supplies, and maintenance).
    • Inventory Management and System Updates:
    • Update and maintain accurate inventory data, including:
    • New stock arrivals and product categories.
    • Sold, damaged, or promotional items.
    • Pre-order confirmations and stock adjustments.

    Financial Record Keeping:

    Maintain accurate and organized financial documentation, including:

    • Daily transactions and cash flow logs.
    • Delivery fee payments and logistics balances.
    • Purchases made by management for store operations.
    • Petty cash disbursements and reconciliations.
    • Monthly financial summaries and management reports.

    Expense Reconciliation and Tax Compliance:

    • Match expenses with receipts and supporting documentation.
    • Maintain VAT and tax records in compliance with statutory requirements.

    Employee Salary Management:

    • Prepare and process monthly payroll.
    • Adjust for deductions, overtime, and other allowances.

    Skills

    Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Excel, or similar).
    • Strong understanding of financial reporting and reconciliation.
    • Knowledge of inventory and retail financial systems.
    • Familiarity with Nigerian tax laws and compliance requirements.
