• Our client seeks to employ the expertise and professionalism of a goal oriented, leader personified and a well experienced persons who ensures the proper functioning of the business, directly influencing the overall performance and strategic results to fill in the role of the General Manager in a hotel situated in port Harcourt

He or she should:

• provide the vision, leadership, and strategy that inspires your staff to deliver exceptional guest service that drives financial success
• Lead sales and marketing efforts by developing a targeted strategy for publicizing the hotels services
• Supervise and inspect rooms, public areas and the surrounding grounds for cleanliness and upkeep in other to uphold the hotels reputation
• Collaborate with hotel department leaders to define goals and objectives that are compatible with the overall hotel goals

Criteria / Requirements

• Minimum of OND / B.Sc in Hospitality Management & other relevant Management courses
• Must Have 3-5 years experience in the hospitality field
• Must Have previous experience as a hotel manager, assistant manager, or hotel Department manager
• Proficient in Microsoft office and excel suite
• Demonstrate excellent organizational skills, communication skills and problem -Solving skills
• Excellent in Verbal and Written communication skills
• Efficient in Training and Book keeping
• Strong Business acumen and Leadership Skills
• Nature Of Job: Full Time
• Age Range: 25 years & Above.

Benefits

• Salary: N150,000 - N200,000 monthly

Job Description

• Greeting and welcoming guests, receiving and delivering all incoming and outgoing mail and packages
• Answering phone calls and directing as needed
• Scheduling meetings and coordinating front desk activities
• Must be smart, outspoken, confident, and have ability to provide basic and accurate information
• Must keep a proper record/documentation of guests
• Inform guests of hotel rates and services
• Collecting payments with paper works and computers.

Criteria & Required Qualifications

• OND, ND, HND, or B.Sc
• Proven work experience as a front desk officer in a hotel is an added advantage

• Serve customers timely with their correct order
• restock fridges and snacks.
• Replenish stocks of customer choices.
• Display items in compliance with hotel and bar standards.
• Take food and beverage orders from guests.

• Drive serving carts to assigned floors and rooms.
• Maintain cleanliness of bar areas.

• Our client in the hospitality industry seeks to employ the expertise of a creative, high performing, passionate person with wealth of experience in the culinary department to fill in the role of a Chef / Cook in a hotel situated in Port Harcourt.

He or she Should:

• Supervise waiters/waitresses when needed
• Monitors food stocks and place orders timely
• Check freshness of food and discard out-of-data items
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area
• Set up the kitchen with cooking utensils and equipment, like knives, pans and kitchens scales
• Study each recipe and gather all necessary ingredients
• Cook food in a timely manner
• Ensure appealing plate presentation
• Slightly modify recipes to meet customers needs and requests
• Supervise waiters/ waitresses and assist where needed.

Criteria / Requirements

• Candidates should possess relevant qualifications
• Proven 2 - 3 years Work experience as a chef or cook
• Good knowledge of Nigerian/intercontinental dishes, baking, and pastry techniques (Certification from training institute will be an advantage)
• Leadership ability
• Up-to-date Knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes
• Familiarity with sanitation regulations
• Excellent in Verbal and Written communication skills
• Efficient Bookkeeping
• Strong Business acumen and Leadership Skills
