    Key Account Manager

    Responsibilities

    • The Key Account Manager will play a pivotal role in driving long-term relationships and growth with our most important clients , including hospitals, government agencies, NGOs, and private healthcare providers.
    • This individual will be responsible for managing and expanding LifeBank’s portfolio of high-value accounts, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maximizing the overall value of these accounts.
    • Sales and Business Development: Drive sales growth by identifying opportunities to expand LifeBank's services within existing accounts, and new accounts including cross-selling and upselling LifeBank’s offerings (Blood, oxygen, Quip and stockbank).
    • Customer Health Relationship Management: Build, develop, and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key hospital and healthcare provider accounts, as well as stakeholders in the government and non-governmental sectors.
    • Serve as the main point of contact for key clients, providing exceptional customer service, anticipating needs, and delivering timely solutions.
    • Act as a trusted advisor and point of escalation for client issues, ensuring satisfaction and resolving concerns promptly.
    • Customer Education and Product Knowledge: Educate clients on the full range of LifeBank’s services and new offerings, providing regular updates on innovations in the blood,oxygen and medical consumables supply chain, especially those that may benefit clients.

    Requirements
    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Education and Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales, account management, or business development, preferably in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
    • Experience managing large, strategic accounts, B2B or healthcare sector.
    • Strong understanding of the Nigerian healthcare system, including hospitals, government agencies, and NGO operations.

    Skills and Competence:

    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust and influence key decision-makers at all levels.
    • Results-driven, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
    • Strong proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho CRM), Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and other sales tools.
    • Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively with internal teams.
    • Knowledge of blood and oxygen supply logistics, and healthcare product distribution is a significant advantage.

    Account Receivable Officer

    Job Summary

    • The Accounts Receivable Officer is responsible for managing the company’s receivables, ensuring timely invoicing, collections, and accurate recording of customer payments.
    • The role plays a critical part in maintaining healthy cash flow and supporting the financial stability of the business.

    Key Responsibilities
    Invoicing & Billing:

    • Prepare, review, and issue accurate invoices to customers in a timely manner
    • Ensure invoices align with contracts, pricing agreements, and service delivery records
    • Maintain up-to-date customer billing information.

    Collections & Follow-up:

    • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are received as per agreed terms
    • Follow up with customers on overdue invoices via calls, emails, and formal reminders
    • Escalate delinquent accounts in line with company policy.

    Reconciliation & Reporting:

    • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies
    • Post and allocate customer payments accurately
    • Prepare aging reports and receivables analysis for management review.

    Customer & Internal Coordination:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for receivable-related customer inquiries
    • Work closely with Sales, Operations, and Customer Success teams to resolve disputes
    • Support audits by providing receivables documentation and explanations.

    Compliance & Controls:

    • Ensure adherence to internal controls, approval processes, and financial policies
    • Maintain proper documentation for all receivable transactions
    • Support process improvements to enhance collections efficiency.

    Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

    • Days Sales Outstanding (DSO)
    • Percentage of overdue receivables
    • Accuracy and timeliness of invoicing
    • Collection success rate.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
    • 2–4 years’ experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar finance role
    • Strong knowledge of invoicing, collections, and account reconciliation
    • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
    • Good understanding of basic accounting principles.

    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
    • Good organizational and time-management abilities
    • High level of integrity and confidentiality
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision.

    Preferred Qualifications (Optional):

    • Experience in healthcare, logistics, or fast-growing startups
    • Knowledge of Nigerian tax and billing regulations
    • Professional certification (ICAN/ACCA – in progress or completed).
