    Business Development Manager (Government Contracts)

    Responsibilities

    • Build relationships with existing clients by providing excellent customer service and creating personalized experiences for them.
    • Leading strategy development and execution to drive customer/client acquisition, engagement, and retention, as well as increase our market share and reach our growth targets.
    • Identify new markets for the company’s products or services that have high potential for growth.
    • Own and execute the growth strategy.
    • Working with projects and engineering to optimise existing and establish new, client relationships to achieve and exceed our revenue goals.
    • Analysing business performance and creating monthly/quarterly reviews.
    • Spot and harness emerging trends, untapped opportunities, and strategic partnerships that can lead to new revenue streams.
    • Identify, assess, pursue and close new business opportunities with potential clients. Monitoring and reporting on growth metrics and key performance
    • indicators (KPIs) Providing strategic guidance and leadership to support overall business growth and success.
    • Own growth P&L responsibilities, taking responsibility for hitting annual growth objectives, managing the budget, and accurately forecasting.
    • Drive traction by identifying key growth drivers for the business as well as opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share.
    • Prepare regular reports on key company wide metrics as requested by senior management, Board of Directors, and other key decision-makers.

    Qualification and Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field
    • 5+ years of experience in Growth Marketing
    • 2+ years of experience in a managerial role is a bonus
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and coaching skills
    • In-depth understanding of analytics tools (Google Analytics, Matomo, Fathom Analytics, etc.).
    • Knowledge of campaign management tools (Active Campaign, HubSpot, Mailchimp, Salesforce, etc.).

    Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

    • In-depth knowledge of business operations and the government sector, an analytical mindset and the ability to think outside the box, as well superb leadership and management skills.
    • Experience launching and managing government related projects of differing scales and complexity.

    Project Manager

    Description

    • As the Head of Projects for the company, you are responsible for overseeing all aspects of project implementation for our clients. This is from initiation, to design, implementation and after deployment support - you will lead and manage project operations (per project) for each client along with your team of project officers.
    • You will play a hands-on role in developing and implementing projects according to scope with the sole aim of driving and ensuring customer satisfaction.
    • You will also serve as an important liaison between the company and the Client, serving as a client relationship manager for key stakeholders in the project.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead business and technology outcomes for assigned program, project, or contracted service.
    • Build relationships with existing clients by providing excellent service delivery andEffectively manage your team of project officers to ensure high performance and results.
    • Evaluate client project performance and make recommendations accordingly.
    • Develop and execute on newly identified project opportunities from the Business
    • Development Manager from proposal development, to scope development, to project implementation.
    • Work closely across multiple functional areas (project management and engineering) to execute your projects.
    • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of multiple projects.
    • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
    • Represent the company at client meetings and other events as needed.
    • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress and manage changes to the project scope, project schedule.
    • Work with the Engineering team to carry out requirements gathering for the oftware Development process. This involves interacting with clients and identifying features and functions required for the solution to be developed and deployed.
    • Preparing and maintaining project, stage and execution plans as required.
    • Conducting a project evaluation review to assess how well the project was managed.

    Qualification and Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field is required. A Master’s Degree is an added advantage.
    • Minimum of 4 years of experience in project development and project management. With clear experience in developing and managing projects of different scales.
    • Proven track record of developing and executing successful partnerships.
    • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively to identify new business opportunities.
    • Excellent negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Proven working experience in project management.
    • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Project Management.

    Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

    • Professional PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus.
    • Experience with scaling financial technology products
    • Experience working in consulting.
    • International business development experience
    • Fluency in another language.
