    Operations & Programs Lead

    Key Executive Responsibilities

    • As a core member of our leadership team, you will oversee the strategic development and execution of all programs and operations while ensuring alignment with LHF’s mission and long-term objectives.
    • Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

    Strategic Leadership & Program Development:

    • Oversee the planning, implementation, and continuous evaluation of LHF programs to drive measurable impact.
    • Design and implement forward-thinking strategies that enhance program sustainability, scalability, and effectiveness.
    • Champion data-driven decision-making to refine program models and optimize resources.

    Program Execution & Impact Management:

    • Lead and supervise the execution of all LHF programs to ensure maximum social impact and effectiveness.
    • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure program success and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
    • Develop and implement program evaluation frameworks to assess effectiveness and identify areas for continuous improvement.

    Operational Excellence & Organizational Development:

    • Direct and supervise all operational functions, ensuring streamlined processes and cross-functional efficiency.
    • Lead the formulation and execution of policies, frameworks, and performance metrics to enhance organizational excellence.
    • Ensure regulatory compliance and governance best practices across all programmatic and operational domains.

    Program Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Provide executive oversight for all programs, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, budgetary discipline, and timely execution.
    • Establish clear performance indicators and accountability frameworks to monitor and evaluate project success.
    • Drive a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement across teams. Strategic Partnership & Financial Sustainability
    • Develop and execute innovative fundraising strategies, including grant writing, donor engagement, and corporate partnerships.
    • Identify and secure funding opportunities to support the organization’s mission and long-term sustainability.
    • Represent LHF at high-level engagements, positioning the organization as a leader in social impact and community development.

    Program Management & Deliverable Execution:

    • Oversee all program management activities, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
    • Develop risk management strategies to proactively address potential program challenges.
    • Utilize data-driven insights to guide decision-making and enhance program effectiveness.

    Leadership Development & Team Management:

    • Foster an inclusive, high-performance workplace culture that prioritizes professional growth, innovation, and excellence.
    • Provide strategic leadership and mentorship to staff, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and professional growth.
    • Design and implement training programs to enhance team capabilities and leadership potential.
    • Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture that reflects LHF’s core values and mission.
    • Provide mentorship, leadership training, and capacity-building programs for staff, ensuring talent retention and motivation.

    Cleaner

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking a responsible, disciplined, and detail-oriented individual who understands that cleanliness in a school environment is directly connected to the health, safety, and overall wellbeing of children.
    • The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining a consistently clean, hygienic, and safe school environment across classrooms, restrooms, offices, playground areas, and common spaces.
    • The ideal candidate must be dependable, physically fit, organized, and committed to maintaining high standards of sanitation.

    Key Responsibilities
    Daily Cleaning & Sanitation:

    • Sweep, mop, dust, and disinfect classrooms, offices, corridors, and common areas.
    • Clean and sanitize restrooms multiple times daily.
    • Ensure Early Years classrooms meet strict hygiene standards.
    • Dispose of waste properly and maintain clean waste collection points.

    Health & Safety Compliance:

    • Follow school hygiene and safety protocols.
    • Use cleaning chemicals appropriately and safely.
    • Report any hazards, damages, or maintenance issues promptly.
    • Support infection control procedures when required.

    Environment Maintenance:

    • Maintain cleanliness of playground areas and school surroundings.
    • Ensure furniture and fixtures are kept clean and orderly.
    • Assist in preparing venues for school events and meetings.

    Professional Conduct:

    • Maintain punctuality and consistent attendance.
    • Demonstrate respectful behavior towards pupils, staff, and parents.
    • Uphold confidentiality and professional ethics at all times.

    Required Qualifications & Experience

    • Minimum of SSCE or equivalent.
    • At least 1–2 years experience in cleaning services (school experience is an advantage).
    • Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and sanitation procedures.
    • Physically fit and able to perform routine cleaning tasks.
    • Must be resident in Abeokuta (mandatory requirement)
