    HDD Truck Driver (Other Machines)

    Job Summary 

    • As a truck driver you will play a crucial role in the transportation of drilling equipment, materials, and machinery to and from job sites.
    • The Truck Driver will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transport of goods, while adhering to all relevant traffic regulations and safety protocols specific to HDD operations.

    Responsibilities

    • Operate company-owned or leased trucks to transport HDD equipment, materials, and machinery to job sites in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic rules and HDD-specific safety guidelines.
    • Work with the truck-boy to safely load and unload HDD equipment onto and off the truck, ensuring proper securing and protection of valuable and sensitive machinery.
    • Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to plan efficient routes to job sites, considering road conditions, traffic, and the specific requirements of HDD operations.
    • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of the truck, with special attention to the secure transportation of HDD equipment. Monitor fluid levels, tire pressure, brakes, and other critical systems.
    • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing transportation, parking and HDD operations. Adhere to company policies and procedures. Comply with Estates and Residents association policies and procedures while trucks are used within those environments.
    • Respond calmly and effectively to emergency situations that may occur during transport, such as breakdowns or accidents, by following established protocols and contacting the appropriate authorities.

    Qualification/Experience

    • Valid Nigerian drivers license (Class G and above) with a clean driving record.
    • Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably with a minimum of [2] years experience in transporting heavy equipment or machinery for HDD operations.
    • Solid understanding of Nigerian road networks, routes, and traffic regulations.
    • Strong communication skills for effective coordination with site personnel and project managers.
    • Physical fitness and ability to handle loading/unloading of heavy HDD machinery.
    • Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle and equipment repairs.
    • Responsible and reliable with a strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing project demands.

    Direct Sales Executive

    Job Summary

    • The Direct sales executive (DSE) is responsible for driving sales increase of all ipNX retail products (FOS) within the territory he works in.
    • She/he must recruit new subscribers through personal engagement and follow up.
    • The DSE must be able to develop relationships with Estate managers, facility managers and any key stakeholder. DSE’s must be able to win back churned customers and re-build broken relationships.

    Responsibilities

    • The DSE must recruit 30 subscribers or more every month.
    • Must be able to negotiate terms of an agreement to a satisfactory Level and close sales with minimal supervision.
    • The DSE must maintain and grow a prospect list. This pipeline report must be submitted on a daily basis – 10 unique prospects everyday.
    • Must carry out route mapping to identify potential and existing customers with given territory.
    • Cold call potential customers in a bid to get a foot in the door
    • Effectively act as brand ambassadors and first point of contact to potential customers
    • All sales reports must be submitted every week.
    • Must be able to maintain a good working relationship with Team Lead and other DSE’s.
    • Must be polite at all times to customers and report any customer feedback during weekly meetings.
    • Must be willing to work at least 3 weekends every month.
    • Must be present at all sales training and weekly meetings.
    • Must abide by the ipNX policies and standards when on ipNX premises and in dealing with customers.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • HND in Engineering / Computer Science / Marketing / Sales / related disciplines
    • At least 2 years’ experience within the telecoms or FMCG space; knowledge of retail market, competitor behavior and strategy, including related product dynamics and product management.
    • Understanding of communications Network, Experience in a b2b, B2C sales environment; field sales, consistent track record of success in achieving product effectiveness and customer experience targets.
    • Demonstrate a high level of analytical thinking, gather and analyze information and provide viable insight about market trends and customer behavior.
    • Demonstrate a high level of organization and quality with multitasks, efficiency & priority setting.
    • Must demonstrate interpersonal capabilities and leadership.
    • Exemplary communication skills – both face to face and over the telephone. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of an organization and favorably project ipNX products & services
    • Good Microsoft office suite competence.

    Rigger

    Job Summary

    • The Telecommunications Rigger is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and decommissioning of equipment on telecommunications towers, rooftops, and other elevated structures.
    • This role ensures that antenna systems, feeders, mounts, and associated hardware are safely and securely installed to meet industry standards and project specifications.
    • The Rigger works closely with tower technicians, RF engineers, and project managers to support network deployments and upgrades, including 4G/5G infrastructure.

    Responsibilities

    • Climb telecommunications towers, monopoles, rooftops, and other elevated structures to install and maintain equipment.
    • Install antennas, remote radio units (RRUs), microwave dishes, mounts, brackets, and feeder cables.
    • Perform rigging operations including lifting, positioning, and securing equipment using hoists and rigging gear.
    • Conduct tower inspections and identify structural or safety concerns.
    • Replace or repair faulty equipment, mounts, and cabling as required.
    • Ensure proper grounding, weatherproofing, and cable management practices.
    • Follow approved rigging plans, lift plans, and safety procedures at all times.
    • Complete site documentation, including installation reports and safety checklists.
    • Maintain tools, personal protective equipment (PPE), and rigging gear in safe working condition.
    • Comply with all company, client, and regulatory safety standards.

    Qualifications/Experience

    • SSCE and above required.
    • Previous experience in telecommunications tower rigging or related field preferred.
    • Experience working at heights and in outdoor environments.
