    Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Specialist

    Description 

    • The GIS Specialist position supports the drive to acquire capability for large scale management and operation of fibre outside and inside plant infrastructure assets through its life cycle of producing both operational and strategic plans and designs, deployment, service provisioning, maintenance and general administration.
    • The role will primarily manage specific GIS applications and infrastructure that has been acquired and deployed so that value can continually be derived to support competitive business objectives.
    • Develop deep insights into geospatial relationships and dependencies in order to proactively meet customer needs.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Creates, tests and enhances GIS operations; develops and administers web based applications.
    • Provides technical support for the implementation and operation of GIS projects
    • Operates and maintains GIS software and web-based applications
    • Prepares GIS databases, maps, database reports and specialized queries in support of various projects
    • Performs GIS analysis, modeling and reporting to support decision making
    • Generates, maintains and disseminates GIS layers

    Requirements

    • Degree in Computer Science, Geoinformatics, Geography, Surveying, Engineering or related field (2.2/Upper Credit Minimum)
    • Extensive knowledge and ability to perform a diverse array of complex GIS related work
    • Experience with mapping tools such as QGIS and Carto
    • Proficiency with database programming languages such as SQL, R and Python
    • Experience with GPS measuring tools
    • Outstanding quantitative skill set, attention to detail and good problem-solving skills
    • Analytical mindset, be able to multitask, think intuitively
    • Excellent written and verbal communication
    • Good project management skills and possess troubleshooting ability

    Credit Control Officer

    Description 

    • To ensure consistent operational cash inflow into the business by regular billing of customers and receivable.
    • Ensure money collectable from sales and takings are received in collection accounts and are fully reconciled to bank in order to block all cash leakages and loss of fund which may result in shareholders’ fund depletion.
    • Ensure WHT receipts are collected, properly accounted for, and allocated in accordance with the company’s credit policy.
    • Follow up on receivable in accordance to the credit policy, collect and allocate payments.
    • Ensure timely reconciliation whenever there is disparity between customer’s payment and invoices.
    • Ensure the receivable aging complies with the company credit policy.
    • Weekly submission of Follow-up Reports and monthly submission of Credit policy compliance report.

    Financial Account Officer (ICAN)

    Description 

    • Perform company accounting operations such as amortization of invoices, accruals for unbilled, suspense accounts, and revenues recognition. This includes daily posting and amortization of invoices and credit notes into the accounting system.
    • Perform monthly revenue trend analysis and review. This includes comparison of financial information from different periods.
    • Preparation of financial reports and schedules, including financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities as per company standards.
    • Assist in financial audit and implementation of audit recommendations. This includes internal control assessments and recommendations.
    • Ensure completeness and accuracy of financial transactions such as invoices, credit notes, receipts, subscriptions, CDRs, and Bank reconciliation in a timely manner.

    Educational Qualifications & Functional Skills

    • Minimum 2.2 / Upper Credit B.Sc / HND in Accounting or any related course.
    • Must be a Chartered Accountant.

    Application Developer

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Primary responsibility for the development and support of the OSS/BSS platform and its integration with other systems and applications.
    • Design, develop, and implement APIs and application modules in support of the OSS/BSS platform and related systems
    • Prepare test plan and perform system acceptance testing
    • Analyze and troubleshoot issues as part of application support
    • Application software configuration, enhancement and adaptation
    • Analyze OSS/BSS enhancement requests
    • Creates work plans, develops schedules, and develops time and cost estimates for projects
    • Creates all System Definition Model (SDM) technical documents: Functional Specs, Design docs, etc.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 2.1 / Upper Credit Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Computer Information Systems or any related field or a combination of related experience and education.
    • Hands-on experience with Perl programming, Linux, Postgres RDBMS, and Apache web server required
    • Demonstrated experience developing database-driven web applications using PHP, Python, Ruby on Rails, or Java, a plus
    • Previous experience with Telco OSS/BSS software.
    • Freeside and FreeRadius, a big advantage
    • Experience with software development (user experience) using JavaScript including libraries such as JQuery, Angular, React, Vue etc. XML, CSS3.0 (with dynamic, responsive web design with mobile devices), and other related UI technologies (HTML5 etc)
    • Good understanding of web application
    • development using HTTP REST, software standards, software development life cycle and methodologies
    • Knowledge of software development process, quality control, and impact assessment
    • Demonstrated knowledge in mobile platforms, internet technologies and user interface
    • Experience working in a multi-platform (LINUX, Mac-OS and Windows) environment.
    • Experience working with version control systems (Subversion, Git).
