    Intern Optometrist

    Job Description

    • As an Optometrist you will be expected use to your skills to provide high-quality vision care to our patients.
    • You will also be responsible for conducting eye examinations, prescribing corrective lenses, and determining patients’ visual alertness.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Perform thorough routine eye inspections including visual acuity measurement, refractions, Eye pressure measurement and so on
    • Identify patient’s visual alertness, field of vision, and hand-eye coordination.
    • Diagnose sight problems, such as nearsightedness and color blindness.
    • Promote eye health by teaching patients about proper eye care techniques.
    • Prescribe corrective lenses and medications
    • Contact lens fitting and Focimeter use
    • Take detailed medical histories for all patients, including current and past prescription medications
    • Provide pre- and postoperative care to patients undergoing eye surgery—for example, examining a patient’s eyes the day after surgery
    • Clearly document diagnosis and treatment plan, including referrals, therapeutic prescriptions and long-term medical management, in patients’ charts
    • Maintain communication with Nurses and support staff in order to optimize quality clinical care and service
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications and Experience Required

    • Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) Degree
    • 0 - 1 year work experience.
    • Current license to operate
    • Demonstrates leadership qualities
    • Able to work under stressful situations
    • Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
    • Participate in the implementation of patient education, clinical support and community outreach programs
    • Must be able to evaluate the results of a variety of diagnostic tests and decide on the best course of treatment for a patient
    • Must be able to clearly explain eye care instructions to their patients, as well as answer patients’ questions.
    • Customer service oriented with excellent analytical and communication skills
    • In-depth knowledge of eye-related disorders, conditions, and treatment
    • Flexible, team player, and critical thinker.

    Technical Manager

    Job Description

    • Our client is seeking an entrepreneurial-minded individual to fill the position of Technical Manager. As a Technical Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and managing engineering projects, ensuring their successful execution from conception to completion.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee project site surveys and coordinate technical design strategies and drawings.
    • Conduct quantity take-offs and proficiently interpret drawings.
    • Respond to RFQs (Request for Quotations) and prepare RFI’s (Request for Information).
    • Ensure appropriate usage and application of the Project Management System (PMS) with respect to entry and analysis of work-related data.
    • Define the scope, budget, and justification of Civil and structural change work orders.
    • Assist project team in negotiations with vendors regarding the value of claims or changes in schedules and prepare recommendations on claims - approval or rejection.
    • Undertake comprehensive project planning, ensuring effective supervision and contract management.
    • Acquire a detailed understanding of contract documents (drawings and specifications), phasing plans, Civil and structural systems interrelationships, construction sequencing, and project schedules to advise the project manager as necessary.
    • Assist in the development and review of Civil and structural engineering systems for the project.
    • Develop systems for reporting to monitor and track technical issues.
    • Work with the stakeholders to establish key performance indicators for critical Civil and structural engineering parameters on the project.
    • Coordinate periodic reports to help understand project performance against Civil and structural standards and drive remedial actions.
    • Interface with clients in relation to Civil and structural activities on-site.
    • Collate and analyse periodic cost reports to monitor cost performance.
    • Oversee Overall QA/QC to monitor compliance with management plans.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (2.1 and above).
    • Minimum of 7 years post-qualification work experience in Civil Engineering Design, Project & Contract Management.
    • NSE, COREN membership desired.

    Account Officer

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Post income receipts, bank transactions and suppliers’ invoices on QuickBooks Accounting Software.
    • Prepare monthly and quarterly management account (profit or loss, statement of financial position etc.)
    • Conduct monthly stock count and reconcile to accounting record
    • Billing and tracking business expenses
    • Manage receivables and payables accounts
    • Conduct sales analysis
    • Assist the Hospital Manager where required with compliances with regards to PAYE, PENSION, WHT etc.
    • Being a key point of contact for other departments on financial and accounting matters
    • Contact clients about invoices that are past due
    • Handle general account queries and check invoices for inaccuracies
    • Assist the external auditors as at when necessary
    • Analyze every day financial activities and provide advice and guidance to top level management on future financial plans.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications and Experience Required

    • Diploma or equivalent; University Degree preferred
    • 3 - 5 years proven work experience in a similar role
    • Membership with a professional body is an advantage
    • Excellent business judgment and decision-making skills
    • Proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks
    • Keen attention to detail and customer service skills
    • Great analytical skills.
