    Human Resource Officer

    Job Summary

    • The Human Resources Officer is responsible for managing all HR functions within the hotel, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws.
    • The role ensures that the hotel maintains a productive workforce, promotes staff welfare, and supports overall operational efficiency.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities
    Recruitment & Staffing:

    • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes (job postings, interviews, selection, onboarding)
    • Coordinate with department heads to identify staffing needs
    • Prepare employment letters, contracts, and documentation
    • Maintain a database of candidates and staff records

    Employee Relations:

    • Address staff complaints, grievances, and disciplinary matters
    • Issue queries, warnings, and disciplinary actions when necessary
    • Promote a positive work environment and staff engagement
    • Serve as a link between management and employees

    Performance Management:

    • Monitor employee performance and conduct appraisals
    • Support department heads in evaluating staff performance
    • Identify training and development needs

    Training & Development:

    • Organize orientation programs for new employees
    • Coordinate staff training and development initiatives
    • Ensure employees understand hotel policies and procedures
    • HR Administration:
    • •Maintain accurate employee records and files
    • Manage attendance, leave, and shift records
    • Prepare HR reports (daily, weekly, monthly)
    • Ensure proper documentation and compliance

    Payroll & Benefits Support:

    • Assist in salary processing and staff benefits administration
    • Monitor staff attendance for payroll accuracy
    • Handle leave management and records

    Compliance & Policy Implementation:

    • Ensure compliance with labor laws and hotel policies
    • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
    • Support audits and inspections

    Health, Safety & Welfare:

    • Ensure staff adhere to health and safety regulations
    • Handle workplace incidents and report accordingly
    • Promote employee welfare programs

    Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

    • Time taken to fill vacancies
    • Staff turnover rate
    • Employee satisfaction and retention
    • Compliance with HR policies and labor laws
    • Timeliness and accuracy of HR documentation
    • Effectiveness in handling disciplinary issues

    Requirements & Qualifications

    • Minimum of HND/BSc in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
    • 2–5 years HR experience (hospitality experience is an advantage)
    • Knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices
    • Membership in HR professional bodies (e.g., CIPM) is an added advantage

    Hotel Housekeeper

    Job Description

    • We are looking for hardworking Housekeepers who can attend to our facility with attention to detail and integrity.
    • The goal is to create a clean and orderly environment for our guests that will become a critical factor in maintaining and strengthening our reputation.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing.
    • Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards.
    • Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies.
    • Notify superiors of any damages, deficits, and disturbances.
    • Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience.

    Waiter / Waitress

    Responsibilities

    • Handles guests’ bills and invoices in a good quality service manner.
    • Maintains the cleanliness and service supply at the service station to ensure prompt and effective operation.
    • To be familiar with all food and beverage items on the outlet menu.
    • To prepare the outlet for operation, including setting and resetting tables, light cleaning, and other assigned tasks.
    • To take food and beverage orders from guests, upselling wherever possible.
    • To utilize the outlet point-of-sales system as prescribed
    • To ensure that all sales are properly recorded, follow the prescribed procedures for ordering, voiding, or correcting items.
    • To serve food and beverages according to the standards established.
    • To clear tables and remove dirty dishes to the dish area.
    • To complete opening and closing duties as assigned.
    • To be flexible wherever possible in meeting special requests from guests for specific food and beverage preparation methods and ingredients.
    • To follow the presentation guidelines as established by the Management
    • Serves food and beverages to guests according to prescribed service standards and procedures of room service with emphasis on speed and accuracy.
    • Reports to the Restaurant Supervisor at the start of the shift to receive necessary instructions for the shift, side duties assigned, floor assignment, menu changes, guest comments, and complaints.
    • Accomplishes and forwards the captain's order slip to the kitchen for orders of food and for drinks to the supervisor, or does so efficiently and correctly.
    • Familiarize with all food and beverage items in the menu, items on promotions and daily special menu, their ingredients, method of preparation, portion size, and presentation to be able to deliver ideal service maximizing guest satisfaction.

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess a minimum of an ND
    • Candidates should reside within the Akute, Ojodu, Ikeja, Agege, Ogba, and Iyana Ipaja axis.
