    Account Supervisor

    Responsibilities

    The ideal candidate will (but is not limited to):

    • Manage the financial bookkeeping of the organization.
    • Reconciling yearly and monthly transactions
    • To monitor the use of purchased goods and materials. This helps to protect the company from incurring costs.
    • Responsible for billing activities; getting cheaper rates on all materials required by the company.
    • Assist the logistic personnel in working together to fill orders and deliver materials on a timely basis.
    • Reconciling of the actual use of a project and what was requested for in the In-house BoQ.
    • Follow-up on all office expenses, inclusive of paying site engineers when due during and after any form of project.
    • Make sure that all in-house BoQs sent are accurate from their respective projects before approval of payment.
    • Record all payments and track all expenses being made by the organization.
    • Processing of PFI’s and Invoices for the organization at its due time.
    • Assisting in the preparation of the company’s budgets.
    • Assist in accountable, timely, and cost-effective release of peacekeeping movement along with personnel.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
    • Analyze variances and report discrepancies to management.
    • Coordinate and provide support for internal audits.
    • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
    • Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure billing accuracy

    Requirement

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
    • Membership in a recognized professional body i.e., ICAN, ACCA will be an added advantage)
    • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting.
    • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

    Structured Finance Analyst

    Responsibilities

    The ideal candidate will (but is not limited to):

    • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis, including revenue forecasting, profitability analysis, and cost-benefit analysis, to support decision-making processes.
    • Sales Performance Analysis: Analyze sales data, trends, and metrics to assess performance, identify growth opportunities, and optimize sales strategies.
    • Generating Sales Leads: maintain organized databases and employ effective lead-generation strategies to drive business growth and revenue.
    • Structuring Financial arrangements Assist in evaluating structured finance deals, such as securitization, asset-backed securities, and structured products, by analyzing risk-return profiles, cash flow projections, and underlying assets.
    • Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models to assess the financial viability and potential returns of investment opportunities, including discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis, scenario analysis, and sensitivity analysis.
    • Market Research: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to understand industry trends, market dynamics, and customer preferences relevant to sales and structured finance deals.
    • Data Management: Collect, organize, and analyze financial and sales data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and integrity for informed decision-making.
    • Reporting: Prepare financial reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate findings, analysis, and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior management and investors.
    • Shariah-Compliant Deal Support (optional): Provide support in evaluating Shariah-compliant deals by understanding Shariah principles, assessing compliance requirements, and analyzing deal structures.
    • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, finance, legal, and compliance, to facilitate deal execution, ensure regulatory compliance, and optimize business outcomes.
    • Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and research as requested by management to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and business planning processes.
    • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices in sales, structured finance, and Shariah-compliant finance through continuous learning, professional development, and networking.
    • Project Support: Provide support in various financial projects, initiatives, and special assignments as needed to support the overall goals and objectives of the organization.
    • Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of best practices in venture capital, financial analysis, and industry-specific knowledge through continuous learning, networking, and professional development opportunities.

    Requirement

    • B.Sc. in Business Administration, Business Management Accountancy, Economics, or related field.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Structured Finance Analyst or similar roles.

    Required Competencies

    • Ability to analyze financial data for investment decisions, sales performance, and structured finance.
    • Proficient in financial analysis, including evaluating investment opportunities and sales performance.
    • Understanding of sales processes, metrics, and forecasting to support sales strategies.
    • Familiarity with structured finance products and ability to analyze deal structures and risk profiles.
    • Skilled in data analysis to derive insights for decision-making.
    • Capable of developing and maintaining financial models using Excel.
    • Proficient in market research and competitive analysis relevant to sales and structured finance.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for conveying insights to stakeholders.
    • Strong attention to detail in financial analysis and reporting.
    • Ability to identify problems and develop creative solutions.
    • Collaborative mindset for working in cross-functional teams.
    • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and market conditions.
    • Commitment to ethical conduct and regulatory compliance.
    • Understanding of Shariah-compliant finance principles if relevant to the position.
