- We are seeking an experienced and driven HORECA Market Development Manager to expand product presence and drive sales growth across supermarkets, open markets, and HORECA channels (Hotels, Restaurants, and Cafés) in Abuja.
- The role requires hands-on market activation, including product sampling, direct engagement with customers, and aggressive market penetration.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive product visibility, distribution, and sales volume across supermarkets, open markets, and HORECA outlets.
- Conduct market activation activities, including product sampling and in-store promotions.
- Develop and manage strong relationships with distributors, retailers, supermarkets, and key HORECA accounts.
- Expand and manage a personal database of supermarket and HORECA customers to accelerate market penetration.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback, providing regular market intelligence reports.
- Achieve assigned sales and market development targets within the territory.
- Work independently in the field while collaborating with internal sales and marketing teams.
Requirements & Skills
- Minimum of 3–4 years of experience in HORECA marketing and FMCG sales.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales and market development targets.
- Strong knowledge of distributor, retail, supermarket, and key account channels.
- Must have an existing supermarket and HORECA customer database (added advantage).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- High energy level, strong drive, and ability to work independently.
- Nigerian nationality required.
- Must be resident in Abuja.
