    Store Assistant

    Job Type: Full Time (On-site) | Job Location: Barnawa, Kaduna | Gross Salary: ₦30,000.00

    Arewatees Limited is looking for an organised store assistant who will be responsible for all stock in the store. To be successful as a store assistant you must be able to multitask, willing to learn, and perform under pressure while remaining professional with customers. A good store assistant is able to manage stock by keeping a record of sales and ordering the required replacement items, and occasionally making new product purchases.

    Job Responsibilities:

    Assist the Inventory Manager in performing his duties which include but are not limited to the following:

    • Sort and package products to process orders as received
    • Manual documentation of processed orders
    • Record daily deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventory
    • Assist in procurement of business supplies
    • Assist in performing tests and quality checks on procured and stored inventory
    • Assist in stocking and cataloging products
    • Track and monitor stock levels of all supplies (business, product and raw materials) and report to Inventory Manager
    • Assist in Monthly stock-taking
    • Daily maintenance and arrangement of store, warehouse, and its environment
    • Other duties as required by Inventory Manager

    Job Requirements:

    • Must be organised and punctual
    • Well-presented and professional
    • A National Diploma or equivalent
    • Prior experience in retail would be advantageous

    Arewatees Limited is searching for a motivated and experienced sales and customer support officer to support the Manager Sales and Customer Support in achieving goals and objectives of the department. To qualify for the role, the ideal candidate will have proven experience working in a sales and customer service position, with excellent knowledge of the latest industry trends and techniques. In addition to being an excellent communicator (written and verbal), you will also demonstrate strong problem solving, and interpersonal skills.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Assist the Manager on sales and customer support
    • Responsible for all customer engagement pertaining to company’s products and services.
    • Respond to customer queries and provide guidance with purchasing decisions
    • Interface directly with customers either physically or virtually - calls, social media, emails - in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Maintain current knowledge of all company products, services and promotions to ensure prompt response to inquiries.
    • Track, resolve and document customer issues - follow up with assigned personnel to ensure timely resolution of problems
    • Responsible for the preparation of customer activity reports - maintain daily records of customer activity (inquiries, comments, complaints, interactions, transactions, and resolutions) in an electronic database for Founder/Creative Director to review
    • Collect and collate relevant information from old and new customers for company database.
    • Coordinate sales efforts with marketing programs.
    • Assist in determining pricing schedules for products, promotions, and negotiations.
    • Maintain accurate and detailed sales records
    • Ensure up-to-date customer data across all data management systems
    • Reach out to customer leads through “cold calling”
    • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximise satisfaction
    • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
    • Coordinate sales effort with team members

    Job requirements:

    • First degree (BSc/HND) in communication, business, administration, management or another related field
    • Minimum of 2 years proven work experience as a Sales Representative or similar role
