    Project Manager

    Job Description

    • As our project manager, you are responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, execution, and completion of the project.
    • You are to coordinate people and processes to ensure that our projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results.
    • You will be the go-to person for everything involving a project’s organization and timeline.

    Responsibilities

    • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of multiple projects.
    • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
    • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
    • Ensure resource availability and allocation.
    • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
    • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
    • Measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques.
    • Report and escalate to management as needed.
    • Manage the relationship with the client and relevant stakeholders.
    • Perform risk management to minimize potential risks.
    • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
    • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
    • Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project.
    • Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members' individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levels.
    • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
    • Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis.
    • Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members.
    • Use and continually develop leadership skills.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
    • 3 - 10 years relevant work experience.
    • Proven work experience in project management
    • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
    • Must be willing to travel.
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus.
    • Experience with project management software tools.
    • Must reside in Abuja.

    Project Engineer

    Job Description

    • As our Project Engineer, your responsibility will be to assist with the scheduling, planning, forecasting, resourcing and managing technical activities to ensure project accuracy and quality, you will also be responsible for yhr engineering and technical disciplines of ongoing projects and will establish inspection criteria for the proper implementation of all the elements of a project.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans and conferring with management.
    • Determine project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements.
    • Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems.
    • Control project costs by approving expenditures and administering contractor contracts.
    • Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends, and recommending actions.
    • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
    • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
    • Ensure project operations are executed in accordance with company project management procedures and policies.
    • Review project plans and proposals and collaborate with management to determine project objectives.
    • Identify project responsibilities by determining the phases and elements of the project. Calculate time frames and sequence the stages of the project.
    • Prepare and manage project budgets, including materials, labor, and other associated costs.
    • Coordinate with different teams and professionals, such as contractors, architects, and engineers to ensure all parties are aligned with the project objectives.
    • Assess and mitigate project risks, including analyzing and managing technical risks.
    • Ensure the project is compliant with the applicable laws, standards, and regulations.
    • Monitor project progress to ensure it is staying on time and within budget. Adjust as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project.
    • Communicate project status to stakeholders and upper management through reports and presentations.
    • Oversee the troubleshooting and problem-solving processes for project design and product issues.
    • Responsible for project documentation, including keeping detailed project notes and records.
    • Participate in the final testing, commissioning, and handover processes.
    • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Building Technology, or relevant field.
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Project Engineer or similar role.
    • Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software.
    • Must be willing to travel.
    • Advanced MS Office skills. (MS Word, Excel PowerPoint etc.)
    • Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards.
    • Ability to work with multiple discipline projects.
    • A valid engineering license.
    • Project management and supervision skills.
    • Decision making ability and leadership skills.
    • Time management and organization skills.
    • Must residein Abuja.

    Site Supervisor

    Job Description

    • We are looking to employ a dedicated and experienced site supervisor to oversee construction projects and supervise the construction team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operation of the project.

    Responsibilities

    • Supervise construction projects to make sure they meet technical specifications.
    • Ensure that construction projects are completed within the planned cost and time.
    • Keep accurate records of material and labor costs incurred in the construction process.
    • Monitor the progress of the construction work and performance of subcontractors at the site.
    • Convey message from the site manager or major stakeholders to contractors and subcontractors.
    • Convey information about the progress of the project and performance of the contractors to the manager.
    • Prepare report to be submitted to stakeholders by providing necessary information on the progress of the business.
    • Ensure that the construction site is safe and free from any hazardous chemicals or objects.
    • Report accidents that occur at the construction site to the project manager.
    • Checking that work techniques are correct and safe.
    • Ensure the smooth day to day operation of work activities at the construction site.
    • Maintain good relationships with site workers, contractors, and suppliers.
    • Managing orders and delivery of building materials to site.
    • Managing construction personnel and delegating tasks to meet deadlines.
    • Completing site reports and ither records.
    • Identify any potential problem at the site and work to prevent it.

    Qualifications and Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Building Technology, Construction, or related field.
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Building and Construction
    • Must be Willing to travel.
    • Excellent computer literacy and knowledge of design and visualization software.
    • Excellent organizational, time management, leadership, and decision-making skills.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Must be Proactive.
    • Must reside in Abuja.
