    Position Overview:

    We are currently seeking for passionate legal professionals with a strong background in litigation who are looking to contribute to impactful legal work within a supportive and challenging environment.

    Job Description

    • Attending court hearings (and doing the preparation beforehand)
    • Research the facts of cases to determine which side has the strongest argument.
    • Drawing up contracts and other legal documents
    • Participating in negotiations with opposing counsel until settlement is reached on one or more issues in a case
    • Explaining the law and giving general legal advice
    • Settling disputes and supervising any agreements
    • Researching and gathering evidence regarding case law and statutes related to the case at hand
    • Analyzing legal documents and ensuring that appropriate approvals are in place before documents are executed.
    • Drafting complaints, motions, and briefs in support of clients’ cases
    • Drafting legal documents such as motions and briefs
    • Reviewing court orders and rulings to ensure compliance with judicial rulings
    • Performing other duties as required
    • Communicating with clients regarding their case status and any updates to their case
    • Proposing settlement offers based on the facts of a case to avoid trial
    • Stay updated on legal developments and provide analysis to support decision-making.
    • Assisting on our secretariat, organizing and managing board and partner meetings, and all related organizational and planning activities.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 5 years post-call experience in active litigation Trial inclusive
    • Strong advocacy, drafting and negotiation skills
    • Excellent research and analytical abilities.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Receive and forward all goods and deliveries in and out of the lounge to the correct point of contact/storage area.
    • Follow standards for issuing and receiving stock within the store\\\\\\\'s area of operation.
    • Monitor and take inventory on regular basis to compile orders based on par levels or needs.
    • Maintain clear and organized records to ensure all reports and invoices are filed and stored properly.
    • Responsible for storage of both food & beverage and operational stock.
    • Responsible to verify all goods arrived as per the agreed purchase, delivery note and agreed quantity has been received.
    • Refuse acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items.
    • Ensure the quantity requested and the quantity issued always matches.
    • Ensure store requisition form is signed by the person collecting the goods and enter into the Inventory/Materials Management System.
    • Conduct inventory audits to determine inventory levels and needs.
    • Conduct physical stock audits on a regular basis as advised by the Financial Controller (FC) and the physical count to be tallied with the inventory count from the MMS - Material Management System.
    • Follow up on documentation of after-hours issues ensuring it is in accordance with established internal controls and procedures.
    • Complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies.
    • Keep accurate recordings of all incoming and outgoing goods.
    • Notify the store management of low stock levels.
    • The inventory officer is responsible for preparing the purchase orders, receiving, storing, issuing the goods, managing the stock levels and giving out the supplies from the stock.
    • Preparing the inventories, maintaining the stock records, using computerized systems for entering the records and is accountable for checking the supply invoices with the purchase orders.
    • Supervise the offloading process, the subsequent arrangement of merchandise, material, etc., and consignment so that it can be accessed and identified easily
    • Responsible for preparing the reports on adjustments done to inventories that may be damaged, spoilt, etc., and coordinates the purchasing, inventory and warehousing functions.
    • Maintain record of receipts as well as issuance of items that are going out of the store so as to ensure accuracy and completeness
    • Reconciliation of physical stock with the stock in the system
    • Comparing items received against items ordered
    • Completing the required paperwork when ordering stock
    • Updating stock information on the inventory software system
    • Compiling daily reports and addressing inventory discrepancies
