The Post

• The Bursar is a Principal Officer and the Chief Financial officer of the Polytechnic responsible to the Rector lbr the day-to-day administration and control of the financial affairs of the Polytechnic.

Qualifications and Experience

• Posses a good honours degree or equivalent in Accounting from a recognized institute with at least 15 years cognate experience.
• Be a qualified and current member of a recognized professional accounting body such ICAN, ACCA, ANAN.
• Be computer literate with a working knowledge of relevant accounting packages.
• Have occupied the position of Chief Accountant or Deputy Bursar in a tertiary institution.

Qualities
The Candidate must:

• Not be more than 55 years of age upon appointment and must be good health.
• Be a person of proven integrity, intellectually and professionally sound.

Tenure of Appointment
The appointment will be for five (5) years in the first instance and may be renewed subject to satisfactory performance for another period of five (5) years and no more.

Condition of Service
The conditions of service for the post are the same as obtained in all Federal Polytechnics in the country. In addition, the appointee shall enjoy any other benefits attached to the position of a Principal Officer of the Polytechnic.

The Post

• The Registrar is a Principal Officer and shall be responsible to the Rector for the day-to-day administration of the Polytechnic.
• The Registrar shall among other duties function as the Secretary to the Governing Council. Academic Board and other Statutory Committees.

Qualifications and Experience

• The tight candidate should hold a good Honours degree from a recognized institution of higher learning with at least 15 years cognate experience; or a holder of a Master’s degree from a recognized institution of higher learning plus at least 13 years cognate experience; or holder of Doctorate degree plus at least 12 years cognate

Qualities
The Candidate must:

• Not be more than 55 years upon appointment and must be of good health, demonstrate versatility in the management of staff and students.
• Be a person of proven integrity
• Be intellectually and professionally sound and knowledgeable in the rules and regulations of the Polytechnic system.
• Be versed in Public service Rules, Financial regulations and be computer literate.
• Be loyal to the Chief Executive and the Council and assist in the manning of the affairs of the Polytechnic.
• Have occupied the position of Deputy Registrar in a tertiary institution.
