    Graduate Engineering Trainee (GET) Straightening Machines

    JOB SUMMARY

    • We are seeking motivated Graduate Engineering Trainees (GET) to be trained in the setup, operation, and maintenance of straightening machines in an industrial environment. This role is ideal for candidates looking to build hands-on experience in machinery operations, maintenance practices, and production processes.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assist in machine setup by installing, aligning, and securing dies, fixtures, and tools using hand tools such as gauges, shims, and calipers.
    • Learn and support the operation of straightening machines used to correct bent or deformed materials. Set machine parameters such as ram stroke and pressure based on blueprints, technical drawings, or work orders.
    • Perform routine maintenance activities including lubrication, cleaning, and basic servicing of machines. Identify and troubleshoot minor malfunctions to ensure smooth machine operation.
    • Understand and follow proper equipment isolation procedures during maintenance and repairs.

    EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

    • Minimum of 2 yrs
    • Minimum of 1 year relevant experience or industrial exposure.

    • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and machinery.
    • Familiarity with hand tools and measuring instruments such as calipers and gauges.

    JOB SUMMARY

    • We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to ensure that all raw materials, in-process fabrication, and finished steel products meet strict industry standards and customer specifications. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining product integrity, compliance, and traceability throughout the production process.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Inspect and verify incoming raw materials (such as billets, plates, and coils) against mill test certificates and heat numbers to ensure proper traceability. Conduct quality checks during fabrication processes to ensure compliance with required standards and specifications.
    • Perform final inspections on finished steel products to confirm adherence to quality benchmarks. Ensure compliance with recognized industry standards such as AWS, AISC, and ASTM.

    • Maintain accurate inspection records, reports, and documentation for audit and compliance purposes. Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions. Ensure all inspection activities follow established safety and quality procedures.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Minimum of 2 years' experience in quality control or inspection within a steel, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
    • Strong knowledge of steel production processes and quality standards (AWS, AISC, ASTM).

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Operate and monitor automated nail-making machines to achieve optimal production efficiency. Ensure all finished products meet defined quality standards and production specifications. Regularly measure workpieces and finished nails (including length and head diameter) using micrometers, gauges, and other precision tools. Install and securely set up die plates, nail-point cutting knives, and headers.
