    Activation Manager [Marketing & Sales]

    About the Role: 

    • We are looking for a passionate and result-driven Activation Manager who has a good knowledge of retail network development.
    • The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and retention objectives.
    • Prior experience in the FMCGs re-distribution or sales automation exercise highly required.  
    • Candidate would periodically monitor and report performance and manage field sales agents.

    KPI: Order Generation Job Responsibilities:  

    • Develop activation plans in line with agreed objectives
    • Manage sales agencies and report performance  
    • Analyze sales and proffer solutions to unmet goals
    • Monitor industry trends and develop business intelligence  
    • Execute sales plans and resolve customer complaints  
    • Achieve monthly & quarterly targets  
    • Generate orders 

    Requirements:  

    • Minimum of 3-5 years Operations experience in an experiential agency  
    • Proven FMCG Regional sales experience with the use of sales force automation solutions
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, especially MS Excel   
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively  
    • Knowledge of growth hacking could be an added advantage

    About the Role

    We are looking for a talented and competitive Business Development Representative who thrives in a quick sales cycle environment. The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives.
    The ideal candidate must have good knowledge of the Nigerian FMCG sector and must be a pro at building connections. Our customers include FMCG manufacturers as well as large scale distributors who use our solution to manage their sales and stock.   
    KPI: New Accounts  
    Job Responsibilities:  

    • Learn & understand our solutions and our prospective clients well  
    • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams, manage inbound marketing to generate leads as well as a sales team to close sales  
    • Understand customer pain points, requirements and correlate Mplify solutions and customer requirements.  
    • Source new sales opportunities  
    • Respond, engage, and qualify inbound leads and inquiries.  
    • Engage current users to expand awareness, educate, ask for referrals, identify new opportunities and develop account intelligence.  
    • Execute planned sales activities and develop a target list of high potential new customers.  
    • Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and services.  
    • Achieve monthly & quarterly targets  
    • Perform effective demos to prospects  
    • Manage customer queries  

    Requirements:

    • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, coupled with excellent listening skills and a positive and energetic phone presence.
    • Ability to make focused efforts to close deals.
    • The ideal candidate should be strategy driven with a researchbas ed approach.
    • Proven sales development experience, preferably at an Internet startup or SaaS industry.
    • Savvy with LinkedIn sales navigator, and CRM tools Networking in the FMCG segment is an added advantage Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively Minimum 2-3 years+ experience in SaaS sales / Regional FMCG sales with use of sales force automation solutions

    The brand / comms manager is focused on building Mplify’s impact driven brand image. This individual will be empowering the go-to-market team, attracting new customers and investors through various marketing initiatives.  

    KPI: Qualified Leads generated 

    Responsibilities

    • Developing a strong understanding of products, competition, industry and marketing goals and objectives of the industry
    • Actively writing / generating content that highlights the impact we are driving as a brand – product demos, decks, presentations, case studies, infographics, articles, etc.  
    • Understanding analytics and data and using them to create effective content strategies
    • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the industry’s best practices, strategies, and offerings including inbound marketing
    • Creating, managing, and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns that leverage SEO, social media, inbound marketing, email campaigns, and events to grow customer acquisition  
    • Ensure all communication across the product and related assets are coherent with the overall marketing strategy  Requirements:
    • Exceptional storyteller - communication skills, both oral and written, coupled  
    • The ideal candidate should be strategy driven with a research-based approach
    • Proven marketing and sales development experience in the tech industry of at least 2 years
    • Savvy with LinkedIn sales navigator, lead generation, inbound marketing strategies  
    • Networking in the FMCG segment is an added advantage
    • Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
