Job Overview:

As a Junior Accountant, you will support the finance team in managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. Key Responsibilities:

• Process and record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports
• Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements
• Ensure accuracy of financial data and perform regular audits
• Assist with the preparation of tax filings and other regulatory reports
• Help maintain accurate ledgers and ensure timely posting of journal entries
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting discrepancies
• Provide support during the year-end audit process
• Maintain and update accounting files and documentation as required

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounting role, preferably in the hospitality sector
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of hospitality accounting practices is a plus
