    Group Head - Public Sector Group North

    Job Identification: 431

    Job Description

    • Develop the strategy for Business Development within the MDAs/govt. parastatal of its business region.
    • Ensure significant increase in market share within the group.
    • Drive performance of the Group.
    • Ensure effective relationship management and building new and existing customers.
    • Optimally exploiting new and existing opportunities in the market.
    • Contributes towards the achievement of established marketing goals/objectives through implementation of marketing strategies and plans within the assigned area of jurisdiction.
    • Generate leads and identify new business opportunities.

    Education

    • First Degree in any discipline
    • Higher Degrees/Professional Certification is an advantage

    Experience:

    • Minimum experience: 10 years relevant banking experience (of which marketing experience) has been obtained at middle management level.

    Relationship Manager - Public Sector Group

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Manage and deepens existing relationships with existing and prospective customers
    • Actively supporting the team’s client retention strategies by providing excellent service to customers.
    • Contributes towards the achievement of established marketing goals/objectives through

    • Providing financial advisory and support services to clients to ensure that their corporate needs are fulfilled.
    • Resuscitate dormant accounts.

    • Identify and establish new relationships, consistent with the bank`s commercial objectives, so that bank`s market share is maximized.

    • Review customer’s credit request proposed by the RM and make recommendation to CAP.
    • Understand the competition & formulate counter strategy to safeguard bank position & win new businesses.
    • Maintain high client satisfaction ratings through exceptional working relationships with clients with a view to increasing the Bank’s market share.
    • Ensure high quality of credit portfolio is maintained at all times in compliance with the Bank’s credit policies, standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Cross Selling of bank products and services to existing and prospective relationships to enhance business potentials and deepen market share.
