    Engineering Manager

    Responsibilities

    • A good working knowledge oil and gas handling facilities such as three or two-phase separators, Scrubbers, Pressure Reduction and Metering Station (PRMS) 
    • Familiar with API standards and other international safety standards 
    • A good understanding of Oil and Gas Master pipeline of Nigeria and West African Coast 
    • Knowledgeable in Gas sales and Purchase Agreement (GSPA) 
    • Provide technical inputs into GSPA  Serve as lead engineer in writing technical proposal for customer 
    • Serve as lead engineer in gas consumption estimation for end users 
    • Serve as lead engineer in technical due diligence, project costing, CAPEX, OPEX, etc 
    • Provide technical scope of work for gas pipeline extension to customers
    • Equipment sizing and selection based on Life Cycle Cost (LCC) principle 
    • Learn and demonstrate relevant energy economic principles in commercial proposal simulation 
    • Cost-saving solution 
    • Relevance of technical solution to the customer’s request 
    • Guaranteed performance of gas molecule availability must be maintained 
    • Planned maintenance executed at the appropriate time 
    • Customer satisfaction levels 
    • Training of subordinates 
    • Development of computer software for performance enhancement

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 10 years post-graduate experience with not less than 8 years relevant experience in a similar position 
    • A good first degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Petroleum engineering at 2nd class upper MSc and MBA will be added advantage. 
    • Professional qualification – Membership of Nigerian Society of Engineers and COREN

    Farm Manager

    Job Description

    • The Poultry Farm Manager will oversee all aspects of poultry farm operations, ensuring the health, welfare, and productivity of our flock. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a commitment to excellence in poultry husbandry.

    Preparation and Administration of Work Orders:

    • Create and distribute work orders detailing daily tasks and assignments for farm workers.
    • Ensure work orders are prepared accurately and in a timely manner.
    • Administer work orders to farm staff, providing clear instructions and guidance as needed.

    Scheduling Workers Assignments:

    • Develop schedules for farm workers, assigning tasks and responsibilities based on workload and priorities.
    • Monitor worker performance and productivity to ensure work orders are completed on time and to standards.
    • Adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes in workload or staffing levels.

    Planning and Directing:

    • Develop and implement plans for poultry production, including breeding, rearing, and harvesting.
    • Direct farm activities to optimize efficiency, productivity, and animal welfare.
    • Monitor and adjust production processes to meet quality and quantity targets.

    In Charge of Procurement of Birds

    • Coordinate the procurement of poultry birds, feed, medications, and other supplies necessary for farm operations.
    • Establish relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery.
    • Maintain inventory levels and monitor supply usage to prevent shortages or overstocking.

    Job Description

    • Legal Research: Conduct thorough legal research on a variety of topics to support the legal team's decision-making processes and to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. 
    • Legal Advisory: Review and advise on Project-Finance documents, contracts, and laws. 
    • Document Drafting: Prepare and review legal documents, contracts, agreements, letters, memoranda, and other legal correspondence with accuracy and attention to detail. 
    • Contract Management: Assist in the review, negotiation, and management of contracts, ensuring that all contract terms are compliant with the law, in line with company policies, and in the best interest of the organization.

    • Communication: Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and external partners to provide legal guidance, updates, and assistance 
    • Training and Education: Assist in the development and delivery of legal training programs for employees to enhance their understanding of legal issues related to their roles.Policy Development: Collaborate with the legal team to review, update, and develop company policies and procedures in alignment with legal and regulatory requirements. 
    • Administrative Tasks: Provide administrative support to the legal department, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating appointments. 
    • Others: Assist with other legal tasks as may be assigned from time to time by or on behalf of the Line Manager.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB) from an accredited institution; master’s degree in law (LLM) is a plus 
    • Admittance to the Nigerian Bar 
    • 5 to 8 years of experience working as a Legal Associate or in a similar legal role. 
    • Strong analytical skills 
    • Proficient in legal research methods and databases 
    • Excellent drafting and writing skills for legal documents and correspondences 
    • Attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines 
    • Proficiency in using legal software and technology.

    Financial Analyst Associate

    Job Description

    • Ensure integration of the Company’s communicated strategic plan with its financial management strategies and in so doing regularly interface with project companies within the group to determine areas of mutual collaboration towards the achievement of group financial and business objectives. 
    • Help develop and articulate a comprehensive financial model for Elektron and its various projects. Convert the articulated long-term business strategy of Elektron into integrated financial forecasts. 
    • Support the financial controller in evaluating all the various projects' risk/return metrics and resolution of attendant issues. 
    • Manage the budgetary process to ensure all budgets adequately reflect periodic resource requirements and revenue estimates for the business: co-ordinate the periodic financial performance monitoring activities of the CompanyLiaise with internal stakeholders and external financing parties, as may be required, to ensure the business remains adequately funded in terms of debt, equity, and working capital requirements. 
    • Assist in Elektron’s outreach activities to ensure valuable and effective financial alliances are forged that facilitate Elektron’s business expansion over time. 
    • Assist in the formulation and execution of Elektron’s investment decision making and financial management to enhance business growth and operating efficiency. 
    • Work with lead financial director/CFO to set appropriate financial targets, and maintain an effective financial management framework covering treasury, tax planning, financial control and management information systems (MIS) processes. 
    • Help in sourcing external debt and equity financing required to support the long-term growth and stability of the company and its projects. 
    • Assist the accounting team as may be required from time to time to develop and implement effective finance and accounting systems, processes, procedures and policies that provide effective controls in the utilization of capital and assets. 
    • Assist the accounting/treasury team as may be required from time to time, with determining and interpreting Elektron’s assets and liabilities position, company’s cost of funds and product /service pricing requirements; banking transactions and daily financial operations. 
    • Assist in the preparation and dispatch of periodic statutory reports to regulatory authorities as required.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of second-class upper university degree in Accounting, Finance (and or other recognized professional accounting qualification ACCA or ACA, CFA). 
    • Minimum of 3 years post professional qualification experience. 
    • Basic knowledge of power and energy sector’s GSAA, GTA, PPA & accounting systems would be an added advantage. 
    • Masters in relevant field is an added advantage IDEAL
