    Civil Engineer

    BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Manage the rehabilitation of buildings and facilities in the company including structural, carpentry, masonry, plumbing, painting, etc., to ensure all facilities meet required specifications of quality ensuring continuous service delivery.
    • Prepares advisory and plans for rejuvenation of infrastructure as well as repair advisory i.e. choice of repair procedure etc., together with the discipline engineers and in liaison with other engineering functions.
    • Upon completion of the assigned projects or parts of projects, arrange the handover and close out of construction works in an organized manner with punch lists and exemption lists.
    • Prepare, monitor, and control the overall monthly project civil construction planning to ensure construction assurance activities and integrative Site Execution activities are in line with the project execution plans.
    • Prepare, monitor, and control project and construction risks and associated response plans for the construction scope during all phases to ensure delivery and compliance assurance of the contracted construction scope are in line with the project specifications, standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Monitors safety and ensures all HSE aspects are addressed (including Permits To Work) and preventive requirements are adhered to.
    • Review design, quantify, estimate and or verify work scopes for all maintenance works in liaison with Discipline Engineering Assurance team as well as process invoices and contractor payment to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
    • Manage HSE on work sites to ensure compliance with company/government policies and regulations. Monitor safety and ensure HSSE aspects are addressed, and that preventive requirements and Learning from Incidents (LFI) are communicated and implemented thus enhancing the effectiveness of the HSSE MS.
    • Review of maintenance work proposals/specifications to ensure effectiveness and value for money.
    • Develop and update Procedures and Work Instructions, integrate new methods and lessons learnt and peer activities into own ways of working thereby improving the Quality Management System (QMS) in liaison with Discipline Engineering Assurance team.

    Education:

    • A University degree in Civil Engineering or related fields.

    Experience:

    • 7 - 10 years postgraduate experience with a minimum of 7 years’ experience in required function such as construction, project implementation, and management. Relevant Professional certifications are an added advantage.

    Mechanical Engineer

    MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:

    • Ensure all activities are effectively supervised and executed safely.
    • To assess current conditions of equipment and use expert knowledge to define and advise on necessary repair and upgrade requirements.
    • Review work method statements for various execution to ensure correctness and completion as planned.
    • Analyze HVAC and Pump systems and equipment when necessary to find inefficiencies or malfunctions and create solutions to optimize performance and increase the efficiency of operation.
    • Develop in liaison with the implementation team and implement mechanical discipline rejuvenation plans and communicate same, with stakeholders to ensure delivery of approved premise.
    • Involved in project development and execution, develop, and specify list of all materials required for delivery of mechanical rejuvenation activities to ensure no lapse or delays due to material unavailability.
    • Ensure all documentation are updated and as-built drawings prepared for every major activities.
    • Extract mechanical material specification from the CMMS for procurement purposes.
    • Continuously engaging the SME on technical review of spares to ensure accuracy of material specification for procurement purposes and address obsolescence.
    • Review procurement queries from the procurement specialist/OEM’s and provide requisite information according to the manufacturer’s manual and site experience.
    • Constantly engaging OEM’s to follow-up on clarifications required to close out actions promptly.
    • Review Design, quantify, estimate and or verify work scopes for all maintenance works in liaison with Discipline Engineering Assurance team as well as process invoices and contractor payment to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
    • Manage HSE on work sites to ensure compliance with company/government policies and regulations.     JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    Education:

    • A University degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Production Engineering or equivalent.

    Experience:

    • 5 - 7 years postgraduate experience with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in required function such as HVAC and Pumps. Relevant Professional certifications are an added advantage.

    QA/QC Engineer

    MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:

    • Inspect all work activities and ensure compliance to plans, scope, specifications and identify any errors in plans; ensures safe and optimal working of construction personnel.
    • Manage and maintain accurate field notes and flow of technical information; prepare comprehensive assessment reports for all infrastructural, structural and fabric works.
    • Oversee all civil engineering tasks/activities within assigned area, inspect materials, assist.
    • to review work processes to recommend improvements where necessary, ensure compliance to specifications and construction schedule; prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports accordingly.
    • Prepare civil engineering work specifications, planning documents, procedures and respond to customer enquiries within required timeframe.
    • Develops and keeps up to date infrastructure maintenance procedures, and quality assurance and quality control documents, including inspection and test plans (ITPs).
    • Provide recommendation for repair works and ensure compliance to specifications of the completed work in liaison with the engineering assurance team.
    • Carries out quality control for all infrastructure rehabilitation activities and projects to verify that tasks are properly executed and takes action to prevent deviations, which may adversely affect safety and or technical integrity.
    • Issues certification on successful completion and verification of the work done in line with approved procedures.
    • Carries out materials acceptance inspection as may be applicable.
    • Carry out duties in line with provided project guidelines, specifications, industry standards.
    • and make suggestions for improvements where necessary for best value to company.
    • Issues the relevant Quality Records and, when necessary, write and send all nonconformances reports to the project lead.
    • Attend site technical coordination meetings to discuss contractor(s) submissions, shop drawings, material submittals and construction/structural-related matters.
    • Verify the accuracy of the contractor’s “As-Built” drawings reflecting in detail the as- built conditions and approve the As-Built drawings.
    • Carry out the final inspection for certification of final completion and handing over of the works.

    Electrical Engineer

    MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:

    • Review Design, quantify, estimate and or verify work scopes for all maintenance works in liaison with discipline engineering assurance team as well as process invoices and contractor payment to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
