    Project Director

    Job Description

    • The Project Director shall be responsible for the interpretation of the project design and issuance of directives for the project implementation.
    • He/She shall work closely with the Project Manager and M&E Officer to develop the project plan and monitorthe project implementation.
    • The project director shall ensure that all the project implementation meets the standard set by the project funder.
    • The project director shall interpret results and recommendations to the PM andthe ED.
    • The project director shall beresponsible for the developmentof the project improvement plan.
    • The project director shall bringinnovative ideas to organization for the project implementation.
    • He/She shall give updates on theproject requirements through frequent interaction with the Project implementation actors.
    • He/She shall serve as advisor to the organization's decision makers on the project.
    • He/She shall represent the PM when necessary.
    • Shall be answerable to the PM and the ED.
    • Shall perform any other duty thatmay be assigned to him/her bythe PM or the organization'sExecutive Director (ED).

    Educational Qualification

    • Must have a B.Sc or equivalence. Master’s Degree or training course in project management is an asset.

    Skills and Experience:

    • Must have good computer applications prowess especially office tools.
    • Must have good reports writing skills.
    • Must have good communication skills.
    • Must have at least three (3) years’ experience working with a KP focus organization on a similar program.

    Nurse Case Manager

    Job Description

    • The Nurse Case Manager shallserve as a counsellor on HIV/AIDS and other related infections for theorganization.
    • He/She shall ensure that thenational HIV Testing Servicesethics are maintained.
    • He/She shall be responsible for the coordination of HIV testingoutreaches, escort and linkages ofclients to appreciate services, andensuring that clients are retained incare.
    • The nurse case manager shallfrequently stepdown the updatednational HIV testing standards tothe counsellor tester.
    • He/She shall bring innovations incase finding and management, as well as strategies for meeting target.
    • He/She shall be responsible forthe validation and accountabilityof all HIV testing tools and, RTK,and other HTS consumables.
    • He/She shall serve as advisor to the organization's decision makerson HIV testing services.
    • Shall be answerable to the PMand the ED.
    • Shall perform any other duty that may be assigned to him/her by the PM or the organization's Executive Director (ED).

    Educational Qualification

    • Must have B.Sc Degree in Nursing, Laboratory Silence, Laboratory Tech. or other relevant discipline.

    Skills / Experience:

    • Must have good computer applications prowess especially office tools.
    • Must have good reports writing skills.
    • Must have good communication skills.
    • Must have at least three (3) years’ experience working with a KP focus organization on a similar program.
    • Must have two (2) laboratory testing and community testing experience, especially on HIV program.

    Program Officer - Prevention

    Job Description

    • Responsible for the design and implementation of the HIV prevention services (including HTS among KPs and partner Notification Services - SNS) in supported communities.
    • Provide technical support and oversight to ensure excellent KP and HIV Testing Services delivery in supported communities in line with program directives.
    • Ensure that the implementation of HIV Prevention activities is in line with the project’s implementation plan and meets the donor needs.
    • Supports the process of development, review and deployment of HIV prevention documents, guidelines and training curricula, including HIV Testing Services/Partner notification Services and KP testing service tailored towards training curriculum and service delivery guidelines
    • Responsible for the implementation of minimum prevention package intervention (MPPI) for Key Population.
    • Works to strengthen quality assured counseling and testing services across all the HTS models – facility based, mobile and strategic community outreaches targeting key and vulnerable populations.
    • Works with the state MOH for qualitative HIV prevention service delivery in line with the national and program guidelines for key populations including adolescents and young people
    • Represents and makes appropriate presentations to management team, stakeholders at various fora on prevention program achievements and deliverables.
    • Supports advocacy, demand creation, and mobilizes policy/guidelines support across facilities as required by program activities and actively participates in technical working group meetings at different levels.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Bachelor's Degree in Basic Medical Sciences, Humanities or Arts and a Master Degree in Health (MPH, M.Sc.) or equivalent degree in Humanities and a minimum of 3 years experience progressive work in the implementation of comprehensive prevention projects in donor funded programs.
    • Skills in management of blood safety, injection safety and key population programs and service delivery.
