Overview

• ColdHubs is now launching the production, rentals, and sales of returnable plastic crates for the packaging of fresh fruits, vegetables, and other perishable food - “ColdHubs Crates’.
• The Production Manager oversee the injection mold production of returnable plastic crates.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for molding, quality inspection, and supervision to produce returnable plastic crates.
• Leads daily production tasks, work schedules, and training.
• Coordinates the sourcing of raw materials for production.
• Communicates raw materials shortage to management.
• Coordinates routine injection mold machine maintenance and repairs.
• Ensures cleanliness and maintains a safe work environment within the production plant.
• Respond to problems by performing corrective technical or mechanical solutions.
• Maintains positive employee relations and adheres to Company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices.
• Implements and manages all maintenance functions, including but not limited to preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on all injection molding equipment.
• Assess project and resources requirements estimating, negotiating, and agreeing on budgets and timescales with clients and managers
• Manages all plastic crates production processes.
• Prepares daily, weekly and monthly reports and submits the same to the CEO.

Qualifications

• Education: University Degree or Diploma in Engineering.
• Job experience: 5 to 10 years solid, practical, and working knowledge in injection mold production of returnable plastic crates.
• Languages: Excellent knowledge of English and another local language.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to Detail.

Overview

• The incumbent will oversee our business operations in the South East, South West, and South-South Regions (Southern) of Nigeria.
• He/She will resume at ColdHubs HQ in Owerri, Imo State.

Responsibilities

• Identify new sites for installation of ColdHubs within the south of Nigeria, negotiate with all stakeholders for land lease, lease land and liaise with relevant government agencies, markets unions, and farm unions for business operations to commence.
• Supports the technical team to install and commission ColdHubs; solar-powered walk-in cold rooms.
• Quickly responds to any technical issue or emergency which may arise within each site.
• Undertake missions to field sites to review operations and technical arrangements and make appropriate recommendations as required.
• Sets up Advertisements/Calls for the vacancy, for the employment of Hub Operatorsonce technical works, commences within a site.
• Recruits Hub Operators and local marketers as the need arises.
• Trains Hub Operators using ColdHubs Hub Operators Training Manual.
• Purchases and hands over all materials/equipment/supplies needed by HubOperator(s) to perform their duties.
• Collates daily reports from Hub Operators.
• Conducts daily supervision/check-in calls with all Hub Operators.
• Quickly arranges/replaces a Hub Operator within any site, in the absence of the site's Hub Operator, temporarily fills the vacuum.
• Conducts our 6-step business development activity within a site, before the ColdHubs is open for operations.
• Actively searches for new customers.
• Leads sales in the region and actively increases sales every quarter.
• Recommends Hub Operators to management, for disciplinary actions.
• Manages all ColdHubs operations in the South of Nigeria.

Qualifications

• Education: University Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering
• Knowledge: Solar Energy, Agricultural Engineering, Structural Design or Refrigeration
• Job experience: 3 - 5 years of proven work experience.
• Languages: Excellent knowledge of English Language and also of Igbo, Hausa, or Yoruba Languages.
• Solid knowledge of organizational procedures.
• Regular travels within the South of Nigeria.
• Extremely detailed, with good thought process in administration, management, business development, and operations, as part of ColdHubs Senior Management.

• He/She thinks deeply, identifies, and develops effective messages for dissemination to relevant target audiences and stakeholders.
• He/She, manage and regularly updates the website, develops, produces, and disseminates monthly Newsletters using our distribution list and key social media platforms.
• Daily management of ColdHubs Limited’s website.
• Crafting interesting stories (including organizing interviews), updating, and regularly posting ColdHubs monthly newsletter – N’Chekwa reaching 2,500+ subscribers.
• Updating and regularly posting approved bulletins.
• Use Mailchimp for newsletters and SquareSpace for the website.
• Use various design software - Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw etc.
• Generates graphics for digital marketing purposes.
• Update social media platforms; Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube
• Use a digital camera (photos & videos) to cover official functions, events, and field trips.

• Measure, Mark, and Cut galvanized sheets as per specifications mentioned in the drawing with minimal wastage.
