    Performance Marketing Manager

    Position Description

    • We are looking for a Performance Marketing Manager to join the Client Growth, marketing team! As a key member of our Marketing organization, you’ll play an integral role in developing Andela’s paid acquisition growth strategy.
    • As a T-shaped marketer, you will be excited to build a center of performance marketing excellence in-house as your specialism: owning paid channel experimentation across AARRR (acquisition, activation, retention, referral, and revenue)  and drive Client growth, whilst also remaining curious about new, alternative levers to drive growth.

    General Responsibilities 

    • Hypothesize, launch and optimize paid activities across new and existing channels
    • Own OKR’s for each quarter (e.g. CAC/ROAS/CPC/CTR)(e.g. customer acquisition costs/return on ad spend/cost per click/clickthrough rate), achieving a sustainable paid acquisition and activation program
    • Launch Campaigns in-house, and with external agencies to support a suite of activities that are aligned to our north star metric(s)
    • Be a strong collaborator, working with our internal experts across the marketplace: creative, content, product, and sales to develop campaigns
    • Contribute to improving meaningful performance marketing dashboards, reports, and internal enablement 
    • Align paid activities with our Inbound and ABM strategy, with a focus on acquiring and activating key targets and accounts
    • Establish an experimentation program for continuous improvement 

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years of Performance Marketing experience in a fast-paced digital environment for a technical company (ideally PLG SaaS), talent marketplace, or digital services space
    • Growth hacker, with experience working in a culture of experimentation and data-driven marketing
    • Experience in generating high-yield paid acquisition with measurable ROI
    • Proven track record of managing and scaling budgets
    • Certified in Google and Facebook Ads is a plus.
    • Data-driven mindset with the ability to measure leading and lagging metrics
    • Ability to generate repeatable playbooks is a must
    • Excellent written and verbal communication with a tendency to over-document and over-communicate: we are fully remote, so this is very important!

    Global Client Partner - Africa

    About the Role

    • We are looking for an experienced client service and project delivery professional to work with our most strategic, global (F500) clients either based in or operating out of African countries, helping them use the power of the Andela model, drive groundbreaking strategies, and deliver value.
    • Ideal candidates come from a consulting background and have deep experience managing client relationships, and crafting solutions to solve business challenges.

    Responsibilities

    • Client Partners are responsible for ensuring the profitability and stability of their portfolio, driving incremental revenue.
    • Demonstrate technical and sales skills to help our enterprise clients achieve outstanding scale, drive innovation, and transform digitally.
    • Establishing and developing significant relationships within the C-Suite and Director level, with an ability to develop and drive initiatives to consistently deliver results, even under challenging circumstances.
    • Keen sense of business awareness and acuity, and experience in developing strategic account plans and engagement approaches.
    • Will possess an entrepreneurial and strategic approach, understand and use current industry trends and a wide range of data to develop complex sales and marketing strategies to improve enterprise relationships and develop demand, including expansion in your assigned client portfolio.
    • Client Partners connect Enterprise customers with our high quality engineers and provide oversight for delivery while ensuring steps are taken to exceed our clients’ expectations.
    • Work closely with sales expansion teams, marketing and leadership teams to expand, elevate and fortify existing relationships and new ones.
    • Accustomed to or seeking work in a highly collaborative, fun, fast paced and energetic environment that is seeking top caliber client professionals to join our team!

    Requirements

    • 15+ years of experience in Digital Consulting or Managed Services sales, Account and Program Management & direct experience selling into F500 clients and technology partners in Africa.
    • Experience running and selling into complex enterprise digital transformation initiatives in collaboration with sales teams in Fortune 500 accounts.
    • Experience and familiarity with DevOps models, various platform architectures, general knowledge of tech stacks, Ux/Bx.
    • 10+ years of experience in a quota carrying role.
    • Outstanding executive presence and C-suite experience.
    • Successful portfolio management experience with the ability to drive incremental revenue within an assigned portfolio.
    • Outstanding hunting and farming skills and experience.
    • Experience negotiating enterprise agreements and closing deals.
    • Salesforce & Cloud experience a plus!
    • Ideal candidates would be in Kenya or Nigeria.

    Product Marketing Manager

    About the Role

    • As our Product Marketing Manager, you will help us drive growth across our talent marketplace by refining our positioning, messaging and materials.
    • You will represent the voice of the customer across each segment and the broader market in which we operate and leverage those insights to help us break into new markets and drive upsells.
    • Ideally, you have a proven ability to drive cross-functional teams towards successful business outcomes, and have partnered with Product Development to drive discovery and research, and are more than comfortable with basic financial modeling.

    Responsibilities

    • Deliver in-depth understanding of customer personas, buying behavior, channels, and Andela’s value proposition across different buyers, industries, and segments
    • Work with sales leadership to develop tools, messaging, frameworks, pricing, pitch decks, research, and any other collateral needed to help communicate customer value and drive revenue growth
    • Support the identification, evaluation, prioritization, and go-to-market planning of new products that enhance customer value and drive revenue growth across Andela’s enterprise customers

    Key Deliverables

    • In the first 30 days you will familiarize yourself with our customers, sales and marketing materials, and product offerings, and the leadership team at Andela
    • In the first 60 days will have established yourself as a trusted partner to our Enterprise Sales and Product teams and identified ways to support their respective efforts
    • Beyond the first 90 days you will drive initiatives to establish repeatable processes for evaluating the competitive landscape, maintaining our messaging and sales materials, and evaluating and launching new services offerings.

    Qualifications

    • 3 - 5 years of Product Marketing experience at a B2B company with evidence of expanding responsibilities and ownership
    • Ability to balance the strategic, conceptual and analytical thinking with deep customer empathy and understanding of underlying motivations
    • Analytical and strategic - deep analytical skills, demonstrated ability to think strategically about complex issues, and keen ability to evaluate alternatives and make compelling recommendations
    • Grit and comfort working with ambiguity – you have demonstrated perseverance toward a lofty goal through building relationships with cross-functional teams, bringing a sense of clarity and purpose to others and rallying around execution
