    DevOps Engineer

    Responsibilities:

    • Work closely with developers and the architect to evaluate existing problems and offer process improvement solutions
    • Identify bottlenecks in the coding development and implementation process
    • Participate in the planning of the delivery time, the quality of the code, and the improvement of the efficiency of the process
    • Execute the plan by creating coding standards and automating processes for the organization
    • Perform daily tasks such as setting up development and production environments, monitoring metrics, and reporting incidents
    • Develop and maintain knowledge of platform configuration management and troubleshooting
    • Actively participate in the deployment of application devices in appropriate environments through compatible technologies and infrastructures
    • Coordinate with developers and technical members of the organization to understand their main weaknesses in the coding and development process
    • Collaborate with the team to provide coherent and holistic solutions

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in computer science or another related field
    • Must have completed the compulsory 1-year NYSC or have an exemption certificate
    • 3-4 years of coding and scripting experience in implementing large-scale cloud architectures using modern cloud-based container platforms is highly desirable
    • Profiency in Java development,Spring, SpringBoot, MySQL
    • Proven experience in setting up and managing a DevOPs environment, CI/CD pipelines, and related tools
    • Hands-on experience with AWS services and infastructure
    • Knowledge of the implementation of automatic infrastructure provisioning solutions is a big advantage (i.e. Puppet, Chef, Ansible)
    • Knowledge of Linux OS, SQL, PL SQL, Scripting, and Container is required
    • Knowledge of networks, cloud infrastructure, and management tools for computing components, storage, networking, caching, etc. is a plu
    • Ability to collaborate and create efficient and innovative solutions
    • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

    Technical Support Engineer - Azure Virtual Machines

    Responsibilities

    • The Azure Virtual Machines team provides world-class technical support to Microsoft commercial and enterprise clients, focusing on the Azure cloud infrastructure. This is an experienced technical team who supports multiple products within the Microsoft portfolio, including networking, virtualization, app development, authentication, backup, and recovery. You’ll work as part of a highly collaborative team to solve intermediate and complex technical problems for medium and large companies.

    This role will:

    • Communicate with end users/system administrators/solution integrators via phone, email, and/or chat to identify, diagnose, and troubleshoot their needs, as well as set expectations and deliver guidance on resolving the issue.
    • Apply technical knowledge relevant to the solution using technical documentation to identify appropriate remediation steps, identify escalated urgent situations impacting business priorities, troubleshoot, reproduce customer issues in lab environments, and seek guidance from technical leads and subject matter experts as needed.
    • Provide technical guidance across teams by identifying areas requiring expertise on different modules of a solution to resolve cases.
    • Maintain documentation for all cases including queries, process steps, and resolutions consistent with customer commitments, prescribed protocols, and processes.
    • Mentor junior support engineers as needed or requested by management.

    • Certifications relevant to the product are an added advantage.
    • Customer support experience (customer obsessed, innovative and result oriented).
    • Professional fluency in English is essential, both written and spoken.
    • Passion for solving complex technical issues.
