    Project Manager

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Plan, manage, and monitor implementation of assigned project components.

    Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Manager

    Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer

    Key Responsibilities

    • Coordinate timely and ethical data collection in Kurfi and Mashi LGAs.
    • Train project staff and enumerators on data collection methods and tools.
    • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to assess progress and impact.
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and final M&E reports, ensuring disaggregated data (e.g., age, gender, location).

    LGA Coordinator (Kurfi or Mashi LGAs)

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate and supervise the implementation of project activities at LGA level in line with the project workplan and objectives.
    • Ensure the timely delivery of life-saving services including case management, psychosocial support, referrals to medical and legal services, and provision of dignity kits.
    • Support the establishment and management of Women and Girls Safe Spaces (WGSS) in both LGAs.
    • Organize and facilitate community awareness sessions and dialogues focused on preventing and responding to SGBV.
    • Serve as the primary liaison between the project team and local authorities, traditional leaders, service providers, and civil society organizations.

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Gender Studies, Psychology, Public Health, Development Studies, or related field. A master’s degree is an added advantage.
    • Minimum 3 years of experience working in humanitarian or development contexts, preferably with a focus on GBV or protection programming.
    • Demonstrated experience coordinating activities in conflict-affected or rural communities.
    • Experience working with survivors of sexual violence and knowledge of survivor-centred approaches.

    LGA Sexual Reproductive Health Focal Person (Kurfi or Mashi LGAs)

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Serve as the focal point for SRH activities in the LGA and represent the project in relevant local coordination forums.
    • Facilitate collaboration between health facilities, LGA officials, traditional and religious leaders, and other stakeholders.
    • Coordinate with protection/SGBV focal persons to ensure integration of SRH and GBV response services.
    • Support the rollout of Minimum Initial Service Package (MISP) for reproductive health in crises.
    • Monitor implementation of clinical management of rape (CMR) services in designated health facilities.
    • Coordinate the supply and distribution of SRH commodities, including emergency contraception, PEP kits, STI treatment, and dignity kits.

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • A degree or diploma in public health, nursing, midwifery, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in health program implementation, preferably in humanitarian or conflict settings.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of SRH and GBV in emergencies, including the MISP.
    • Familiarity with Katsina State health system and cultural context, particularly in Kurfi and Mashi LGAs.

    LGA Legal Focal Person (Kurfi or Mashi LGAs)

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide legal advice and aid to survivors of sexual violence.
    • Support survivors in filing reports, obtaining protection orders, and navigating judicial procedures.
    • Liaise with local law enforcement and judiciary to ensure proper case handling in line with Nigerian law and international human rights standards.
    • Facilitate legal representation in partnership with pro bono lawyers or legal aid organizations.
    • Serve as the legal liaison between the project team and local legal institutions (police, courts, Ministry of Justice).
    • Work with GBV actors, health services, and case managers to ensure coordinated service delivery.
    • Advocate for the enforcement of legal protections for survivors and hold duty-bearers accountable.
    • Support awareness campaigns and community sensitization on the rights of women and girls under Nigerian and international law.

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) and Call to the Nigerian Bar (BL).
    • Minimum 3 years of legal practice, preferably in GBV, human rights, or legal aid.
    • Experience working with survivors of sexual violence or vulnerable populations in humanitarian/conflict contexts.
    • Strong understanding of Nigerian legal frameworks on GBV and international human rights law.

    Community Volunteers (Kurfi or Mashi LGAs)

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Raise awareness in communities about the impact of sexual violence and the availability of survivor support services.
    • Conduct community dialogues and sensitization sessions in collaboration with project staff.
    • Assist in the safe and confidential identification of survivors and vulnerable individuals.
    • Facilitate referrals to health, psychosocial, legal, and protection services using established referral pathways.
    • Support the establishment and functioning of women and girls’ safe spaces.

    LGA Protection Officer (Kurfi or Mashi LGAs)

    Key Responsibilites:

    • Identify and support women and girl survivors of sexual violence through safe, confidential, and survivor-centered approaches.
    • Conduct initial assessments, develop case plans, and follow up with cases requiring multisectoral support.
    • Provide direct referrals to health, psychosocial, legal, and shelter services as needed.
    • Coordinate with service providers to ensure timely and appropriate assistance is delivered.
    • Work closely with community leaders, women’s groups, and youth representatives to raise awareness on SGBV, rights of survivors, and available support services.
    • Facilitate safe space activities for women and girls to promote resilience and social cohesion.

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • Minimum of a Diploma in Social Work, Psychology, Gender Studies, Law, or related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
    • At least 2 years of experience in protection, case management, or community-based work, especially with survivors of SGBV.
    • Knowledge of national and international SGBV protection standards and guidelines (e.g., IASC GBV Guidelines).
    • Fluency in Hausa and good understanding of local dialects in Kurfi and Mashi.

    Data Entry Clerks

    Key Responsibilites:

    • Collect and collate data from field staff, community workers, and project partners.
    • Enter data accurately into project databases and spreadsheets.
    • Digitize paper-based tools and ensure regular updates of all data records.
    • Conduct regular data verification, validation, and cleaning.
    • Identify and report data inconsistencies or missing data for correction.
    • Support field teams in using standardized data collection tools.
    • Maintain an organized filing system of paper and electronic records.
    • Ensure proper backup of all program data.
    • Update beneficiary databases, attendance sheets, and service delivery records.
    • Assist in generating routine data reports for the MEAL team and project managers.
